I cannot say this more directly: DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE. From the moment my son started riding his bike, It has been nothing but problems. For starters, the front axle nuts constantly come loose. And being that they are not of the highest quality, you definitely do not want to overtighten them. And it’s a big safety hazard. Second, my son had the bike about a month and the rear axle, which is kind of an oval shape, became rounded. After searching the Internet boards, apparently this is a common problem. So what is happening is the axle is spinning freely which it should absolutely not be doing. The hardware that comes with a bike that is meant to secure it in place is thin and cheap. And good luck finding a replacement axle, which is probably less than 20 bucks assuming they even exist. So because this part has failed, it’s $250-$300 for a new motor on a bike that’s been ridden less than a month. All that because of some cheap washers. Don’t waste your time or your money. Spend a little more and get something of quality. Paid 1000 bucks for a bike that’s been ridden less than a month and is already in need of a big repair because of bad design and cheap parts. A very well made bike with a big comfy seat that makes a very sharp looking bike with plenty of power to zip around town on. The 54volt battery is plenty of power and is surprisingly good battery life vs the power output. The bike is very responsive on the throttle.

Great bike! Works perfectly! Has real get up and go. Bought 2. One for me and one (a little smaller for my wife. We love riding them around town and on dirt roads. The big tires are perfect for this. The price for these was really great for the value you get. One problem is that the instructions that come with the bike aren't complete regarding the front tire assembly. I had to go to youtube to see how to install the nuts. The smaller bike was easy but the bigger bike had many more nuts and I didn't know in which order they went. Youtube helped. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Awesome bike I like the customizations you can do. Fast and seems pretty well built. I have 73 miles on it so far. Brakes a a bit noisy squeaking when applied but would give 4.5 stars based on price. Hope to get thousands of miles out of it.

Ridstar e bike is awesome ! So fun to ride , though I did have an issue with the front tire falling off , customer service went above and beyond ! Not only were they genuinely concerned about the tire (and my son who was riding it at the time ), they rushed out replacement parts for free ! And kept checking in on my son to make sure he was okay. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced, highly recommend this bike , just be sure to check the tightness of the tire Nuts before each ride just to be safe ... show more

For almost $900 this bike is garbage. When we got it a June 18th bike was damaged and not working properly so ai told them and they said they would send new parts which took over a month to get and it still Dosnt work . Very cheap parts brakes are gatbage and so I asked to return it and get refund as it is August and was my sons birthday give in June that he hasn’t been able to Ride at all. They are now refusing saying it’s past July well it is only past July as they took over a month to send parts that still Didn’t work. ... show more
