The Ridstar Q20 Electric Bike is an absolute blast to rideโ€”it feels more like a motorcycle than a traditional bicycle, which makes it incredibly fun. With two young kids, my wife and I have found it great for family outings; she has one child on her bike, and I have the other on mine. The power and speed are impressive, and the battery life is excellent. On half a charge, I've managed to go about 30 miles in one day. However, the bike is quite heavy, so transporting it in a car isn't really an option. It's more suited for rides starting and ending at home. I also had some issues with the second bike I purchasedโ€”missing screws and brakes that were too tight. Building the first one was easy, but the second required some adjustments. Thankfully, customer support was top-notch. They responded quickly, provided helpful videos on adjusting the brakes, and sent me a package with the missing screws. Overall, the Ridstar Q20 is a powerful and enjoyable ride, but be prepared for some heft and possible setup issues. Got this for our 13 year old son. Has good speed, smooth ride, the build of the bike is good, good size for a 13 year old and something he can keep for years to come. Looks great and was easy to assemble. Love that he can take the batter pack off to charge in a smaller area and love the safety features like the head light and horn and a place to hold his phone and bike lock amongst other small items. ... show more

Bike arrived on time with no damage to packaging. Assembly was simple and straight forward. Rode bike for 3 miles before display showed error code "E 10" and bike is now dead and will not move. Battery is full and I checked all factory wiring connections which all appear to still be tight. $1000 e-bike made it exactly 3 miles. $333/mile. Not impressed. Sent message to Ridstar through Amazon to complain. I will update review with how they handle this disappointing experience. ... show more

The bad: came w two right pedals and it took awhile to get the replacement - front light broke on the first ride, same situation for the replacement - uphill acceleration is terrible. The good: Despite the issues above, this bike is amazing for the price. My son has a bike that cost 4x more and he canโ€™t stop raving about the Ridestar. The brakes are solid, tires give a smooth ride and the seat is super comfortable. I have got up to 33mph and the battery lasts a considerably long time. However, if you have the extra money and have hills that will be part of your regular ride, I would go for the higher end Ridestar. ... show more

Q 20 20ah battery 1500 watt motor. It took 3 weeks to get it. But I'm glad I waited to get the color scheme that I wanted. I chose the tan seat and tan side wall tires with magweels. I ride motorcycles, so I chose this model because it resembles a motorcycle. Everything about it reminds me of my dual sports. From the seat height to the front light to the handlebars the tires. It all reminds me of my dual sports. The suspension is not adjudouble and it's a bumpy ride off road. The bike does seem to be well built end of decent Quality.
