This purse can be casual with jeans and T or dressy with heels and a dress. Unfortunately it's too short to be crossbody for tall ladies. I'm 5'2 1/2" and it barely was a crossbody. I had to push the knots on each end down as much as I could to make it work. All in all, this purse is cute and so nice to touch. If security is a must you might think about a different purse.
