I chose this product after reading reviews of competing products that were taped on. The reviews of the taped-on products expressed dissatisfaction with adhesion. This is a sturdy product and just the right width and depth for smart phones. However, I am subtracting one star because the product is shorter than the height of the phone; this could scratch the wall when the phone repeatedly leans back against the wall. I addressed this issue by affixing a small piece of surgical tape where the top of the phone leans back. The tape perfectly matches the color of this product. Happy with my purchase. Works fine. Easy to put up and I can fit 3 remotes. Only issue is the adhesive sticking stuff to mount it sucks. I had to use some additional ones I had that are Velcro. Other than that works fine. I’d recommend

I'm not even sure why I haven't had this all along. I'm one of those people who have on my nightstand a Amazon fire remote, a Roku remote, a pair of glasses and a pen. So I finally cleared up that cutter with one of these. All four things fit perfectly and still have a little more room. The adhesive tape they gave me is holding strong with all those items in it , it hasn't budged. I lined it up so it was the best height next to the bed and above my nightstand.
