I've been using Ridge Wallets for about 5 years now. I keep having issues with the screws falling out and getting cards in and out of the Ridge is a bit tricky. So far, I absolutely love the Ekster for the way the cards slide out. As another reviewer posted it doesn't close flush when it's new but after carrying it around in my pocket for a week that issue works itself out. My biggest complaint is that it says it holds 12 cards but the slide out portion can really only hold 5, and if you load up the side pockets with more cards then it will probably not close very flush. Can't speak to durability yet, but I've been wearing out Ridge wallets every 2 years, so if it last 2 years I'll be happy. Overall, it's great. Easier to use and definitely more comfortable in your pocket than the Ridge if you can live without carrying more than 5 cards. ... show more

Great wallet! The leather feels really high quality, cards flick out easily with a button press. Keep in mind that if you're going to put more than a few bills in the band or any thicker cards (like an ID) on the inside pocket, it won't really "close". I put my ID and health insurance card on the outside card pocket and this worked out better so that it closes right. Would recommend for anyone who wants a nice slim wallet without limiting yourself to just a couple of cards. ... show more

Update: Seller contacted me and provided a full refund for the deflective wallet. 5 stars to the seller and I updated my rating to 4 stars to reflect the sellers' integrity. And I will be looking at other wallets they sell as a result. While a nice wallet, slim and can hold up to 6 cards, I have found various credit cards on the floor as the mechanism doesn't hold them in place anymore and I only had it for a year. I've taken it out of my pocket at the store and a credit card would fall out. The workmanship has held up and I do like the size and fell but losing credit cards won't cause me to buy another one anytime soon. ... show more

So it says it will fit something like 14 cards. It does not. I only have six cards in the back part of that wallet. Otherwise I love the wallet. It isn't super skinny because I have the six cards in the wallet plus I have my door access card in the back pocket of the wallet, and then I have four cards in the two Side Pockets. The idea of this wallet is pretty neat. More of a front pocket wallet. All and all it has pretty good utility, if it was designed correctly... First off the card release is a pretty chinsy plastic lever. I have had this for about 2 weeks now and already the release is getting stuck. I even had to go down to 4 cards simply so the release would work at all. I removed all cards and release still sticks for those that say, "Lower card count and it will work fine". Second the fold design was not well thought out. If you have no cash in strap and no cards on inner folds it works fine but as soon as you add cash, or use a card, or both the thing is too thick two close. It's needs a bit more slack to correctly close and not bend the crap out of the two cards on inner slots. All and all the ideas is cool but the actual item needs work. For $30-$40 it wouldn't be too bad. But for a near $100 product it is not worth the dollar signs. ... show more

Since this post, the company has reached out to free and offered to replace my purchase with new free of charge. They have had great customer service. Excited to continue using this wallet with the clip. I did keep this as a 4 star rating as I still have worries about reliability in the long run, but the design of the wallet and customer service of the company influenced me to increase my initial rating Original post: I really liked the design of the wallet. Great leather color, craftsmanship with the stitching, and very minimalist while easy to organize . I was able to carry all my cards (7 in total), cash, and insurance card with ease. However, after only 5 months of use, the plastic piece that pushes the cards out broke when I pushed the black tab to retrieve a card, making the wallet near impossible to use while taking away the number reason I purchased this wallet.     • Awkward with cash bills

I really want to like this wallet... but it's a difficult sell me when the wallet can't even hold bills properly. The Ekster Parliament is designed wonderfully if all you're carrying is cards. But the wallet is just awkwardly enough sized that bills must be folded over twice just to fit under an awkward elastic band made for them. The result is that it doesn't take too many bills to start to make the wallet look more like a triangle than the “slim” wallet advertised. The fix would be very easy for customers in the United States. All that is required is a little bit extra width to the wallet so that bills only need to folded once. Of course, in the European Union it is a different story. But in both cases the elastic strap is still an awkward, time-consuming way to deal with bills. ... show more
