Very very pleased with these gowns and matching house coats I bought for my mother. As you can see she is modeling a set for me for a review before we have washed them but I just wanted to see if we were keeping them before we washed them. She is 5'5" and 210lb, I ordered her a size XXL and they are plenty roomy, but she says just perfect! She wouldn't want them any smaller, especially considering they may shrink a little during the wash and dry cycle the first time. If that helps anyone with an idea on what size to order. So yes they are pretty true to size. They are silky smooth and feel luxurious my mom says and she loves that they don't bunch up under her as she sits or lays. They do keep her somehow both warm and cooled off at the same time. She stays very comfortable temperature wise in her gown and house coat. I am absolutely in love with this companies products a d so is my mom. I have other products I have already ordered and more in the order soon cart. Mom is very pleased and feels spoiled at such a valued price, I simply can't beat it. I am excited I found these gowns. They are quality and value with beauty. Thanks. Does not stretch but does not cling. Does shrink, I only washed and hung dry. It does stretch back out again after wearing for a few hours but sleeve length shorter. Was looking for 100% cotton that covers well from being inside to outside and this works fine.

I purchased an XL. I'm 5'4' & 185 lbs, 44D bra size. The dress fabric is very light weight and airy, but not see thru. Even though I'm "top heavy" and broad shouldered, I still had to take the neckline in so my bra straps wouldn't show. The dress is comfortable, just below my knees, and beautiful, brilliant colors just as advertised. I really like this dress for the extreme heat of Texas! The color was on point and the material was good quality and appeared to not wrinkle but since I gave them as a gift and not sure how they washed but was told by the recipient they washed nicely and they were pleased wit them . This is a cute little sleeping gown. I am a 3x and that’s what I ordered. But… the material has no stretch. Bigger busted ladies may find it uncomfortable. This is the lightest weight dress I've ever had. It's like wearing a giant scarf, but a good quality scarf. Nice on hot days. It's pretty, but I would only wear it around the house. Imagine what would happen if outside on a windy day! I have hand washed it and ironed it at a low temperature. It came out fine! Looking at the seam stitching on the inside, I would say it is well constructed. The fabric is not so delicate. I think it could be washed by machine if using one of those bags for delicates, and limiting the cycle length to just what's necessary. Also, washing with similar light weight items. Tag instructions say not to put it in a dryer, so drip dry. ... show more
