I have purchase strap locks for years. These are the only one that stripped as I was tightening them. They are crap and flimsy. I will not buy them again. One star only because I cant give "No stars."

These are okay, but require the locking pin to be pulled out when attaching the strap to the guitar. Unlike some other straplocks (Schallers) where there is a cleaner beveled top part on the button. These have a smaller bevel and it takes just a little more time when putting on the instrument. So, they do the job and secures the guitar well, just I have gotten so used to being to just clicking my strap on the guitar without having to pull out the pin to clear the button bevel. Also, the strap lock itself does not interchange with other strap lock buttons. They are too tight and won’t slide on, but others will work on it, in case you share a single strap among a couple instruments that happen to have different strap lock buttons. ... show more

Good product. They work well and replaced the existing screws (same size) as my PRS Custom 24, and my PRS SE Semi Hollow. In 2 minutes your done with the installation.

Cheap, easy to install and works flawlessly. No issues whatsoever. I suggest you consider shoving a small piece of wood toothpick into the hole and put a little wood glue on the tip of the screw when installing into an existing whole. Give it a couple days to dry completely.
