Description

Coffee is amazing. It’s no mere beverage. And we believe this just as passionately today as we did when we first brought our gourmet coffee to market over 100 years ago. Throughout the years, we’ve explored new varieties, changed our look, rolled out ground coffee and single-serving Keurig K-Cup® pod packs…but there are some things we’ll never change. For starters, the classic flavors inside our new bags remain untouched. All our whole bean and ground varieties continue to be crafted using only high quality, 100% Arabica coffee. All our roasting is done at our own facility in Maryland, USA, under the expert supervision of master roasters. We take coffee personally. We care about our craft. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

  • BEST COFFEE - ONLY COFFEE THAT WORKS ON MY ESPRESSO MACHINE
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. When I get coffee at five dollars a pound it’s usually oily crappy dark roast coffee that isn’t good. This coffee is a medium roast or dark roast. It’s a six out of 10 on the roast scale. When you look at the coffee it’s really clean with no young beans Earl beans all the beans are standardized. When you have different colored beans this means the coffee is cheap. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And I am proud to drink it. I have tried at least 20 coffees on my SAECO Xsmall espresso machine. This machine is supersensitive and if the beans are too oily or dunk rain well even after adjusting the grind. The machine clogs up and then you have to take the whole machine apart. It’s one of the best espresso machines I’ve owned but it’s very selective on the kind of beans you want to use. I’ve tried 20 different brands going from coffee at $40 a pound to my local Winco store that sells five dollar pound of coffee bags which are oily and cheap. Out of all 20 coffees. Only two worked. PYK coffee and EIGNT O’CLOCK. Everything else clogs up the machine either it’s too oily or artificial flavors are added or the coffee is just cheap coffee and sold at a high price. I even used very overpriced $40 a pound Starbucks coffee from Rwanda and it clogged up the entire machine and the espresso tasted like garbage. I even tried a Starbucks blonde roast which is supposed to be a little dryer and it still clogged up the machine. Any Starbucks coffees that I used with clog up the machine and break it and I’ll have to replace parts. But this coffee 8 o’clock. Does the job. It doesn’t clog up the machine. It cooks really well. When the coffee PUCKS come out. They all together and they are in one piece where I can lift them up and feel them. Because of this you can tell the coffee is good. When are you Starbucks coffee or any other brand of the 18 brands I’ve tried The coffee would either break apart in the internal machines mechanism or it would break apart when dumped in the drop drawer. Which tells me the coffee is oily and low quality and it was roasted too high of a temperature and not slow roasted. Which this means the coffee was roasted at a high temperature and all the oil’s were pulled out when roasted meaning you don’t get a lot of caffeine and you get a crappy burnt cup of coffee like Starbucks. Even though this coffee is cheap don’t judge the price. The price is well priced for what you’re getting good quality cup of Joe nothing too crazy. And the people that say taste like mud those are the people that want to drink hazelnut latte is filled with a bunch of sugar and garbage artificial flavors. To describe it it’s a good cup of New Jersey coffee that you would have the bagel and cream cheese and it works amazing my espresso machine I’ve been on the hunt for a good coffee for the last three years and this is the one that really makes the deal. My espresso machine has pull 200 shots of this coffee and not once has a clogged up and not once have I had to replace a single part because of this espresso machines ability to use this great coffee. ... show more

  • Actually, this is my father's coffee and it's still great
Flavor Name: Dark Italian Espresso Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Back in my youth, a very long time ago in my youth, there was always a percolator of coffee on the stove. Well before the elevation of coffee in the country, we used one of the basic store brands, 8 O'Clock. I don't think they had dark-roast Italian then. Times change and I have a lovely, high-quality espresso machine in my kitchen. I've tried many whole-bean coffees, some domestic, some international, with prices all over the map. 8 O'Clock Whole bean Italian Dark Roast is always my first choice. The coffee is always fresh and brews a consistently fine cup of coffee. As an added bonus, you won't have to mortgage your house to enjoy it. Put it on scheduled delivery with Amazon and enjoy a great cup of coffee ... show more

  • yum
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I am the most surprised person in the world. I thought I could only, when I finish a cup of coffee. Sit and think, that's pretty awesome stuff. I think I'll get more of that one. I thought I could only have those thinks from coffee that comes from small batches, on individual farms. That is sold in 8 to 16 ounce bags. And once that year is over, so is that taste. BUT, this is wow. Maybe it is this year. Because I have peoples opinions on (8 o'clock coffee), and those could not possibly match this. This coffee has some, really sweet notes in there. I tried this coffee from Hawaii that tasted sweet. It was, way to sweet. But that is logical. From such a sunny place. To sweet. But not this (8 o'clock coffee). It has just a little bit of sweet in there. Just enough that I gotta chase it and see, I'm pretty sure that was sweet. For a second. Because the sweet is so little that it fade away, as quick as it came. Keeps me wondering. What did I see in that. That response is the same when people see anything that is attractive. A girl, a opera, a painting, the grand canyon. Whatever lights you fire, I don't know you. But this coffee makes me smile. It's worth your try. ... show more

  • Tried this brand for the first time, bye Dunkin
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
WOW, what a pleasant surprise. I thought this was a pretty good deal compared to what I've been paying for a bag of Dunkin Donuts original that was 1/2 the size for the same price. Great value, great flavor, very happy. Using my coffee maker twice as a much now, will buy again as long as the price stays reasonable. ... show more

  • So far so good
Flavor Name: The Original Decaf Size: 1lb (Pack of 1)
I’ve had this product for a few days and I do like it. I mix it with regular beans for half caffeine in the morning. Hard to find good decaf beans but I like this one.

  • Excellent for Double-Shot Lattes
Flavor Name: Dark Italian Espresso Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I was so pleasantly surprised by these espresso beans. I was afraid they would be low quality, because of the low price. But they make an excellent espresso shot, dark, smooth and rich with the right amount of crema on top. We have 4 adults living in our house and everyone wants at least one double-shot latte every morning. If you make a lot of coffee this bag of espresso beans is very economical. I will continue buying this coffee, and I highly recommend it. ... show more
