  • BEST COFFEE - ONLY COFFEE THAT WORKS ON MY ESPRESSO MACHINE
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2.25 Pound (Pack of 1)
Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. When I get coffee at five dollars a pound it’s usually oily crappy dark roast coffee that isn’t good. This coffee is a medium roast or dark roast. It’s a six out of 10 on the roast scale. When you look at the coffee it’s really clean with no young beans Earl beans all the beans are standardized. When you have different colored beans this means the coffee is cheap. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And I am proud to drink it. I have tried at least 20 coffees on my SAECO Xsmall espresso machine. This machine is supersensitive and if the beans are too oily or dunk rain well even after adjusting the grind. The machine clogs up and then you have to take the whole machine apart. It’s one of the best espresso machines I’ve owned but it’s very selective on the kind of beans you want to use. I’ve tried 20 different brands going from coffee at $40 a pound to my local Winco store that sells five dollar pound of coffee bags which are oily and cheap. Out of all 20 coffees. Only two worked. PYK coffee and EIGNT O’CLOCK. Everything else clogs up the machine either it’s too oily or artificial flavors are added or the coffee is just cheap coffee and sold at a high price. I even used very overpriced $40 a pound Starbucks coffee from Rwanda and it clogged up the entire machine and the espresso tasted like garbage. I even tried a Starbucks blonde roast which is supposed to be a little dryer and it still clogged up the machine. Any Starbucks coffees that I used with clog up the machine and break it and I’ll have to replace parts. But this coffee 8 o’clock. Does the job. It doesn’t clog up the machine. It cooks really well. When the coffee PUCKS come out. They all together and they are in one piece where I can lift them up and feel them. Because of this you can tell the coffee is good. When are you Starbucks coffee or any other brand of the 18 brands I’ve tried The coffee would either break apart in the internal machines mechanism or it would break apart when dumped in the drop drawer. Which tells me the coffee is oily and low quality and it was roasted too high of a temperature and not slow roasted. Which this means the coffee was roasted at a high temperature and all the oil’s were pulled out when roasted meaning you don’t get a lot of caffeine and you get a crappy burnt cup of coffee like Starbucks. Even though this coffee is cheap don’t judge the price. The price is well priced for what you’re getting good quality cup of Joe nothing too crazy. And the people that say taste like mud those are the people that want to drink hazelnut latte is filled with a bunch of sugar and garbage artificial flavors. To describe it it’s a good cup of New Jersey coffee that you would have the bagel and cream cheese and it works amazing my espresso machine I’ve been on the hunt for a good coffee for the last three years and this is the one that really makes the deal. My espresso machine has pull 200 shots of this coffee and not once has a clogged up and not once have I had to replace a single part because of this espresso machines ability to use this great coffee. ... show more

  • Good coffee
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I buy this and Amazon basics whole bean. I like both about the same, and this is a little cheaper. So eight o'clock it is.

  • Roast Changes
Flavor Name: Colombian Peaks Size: 1.3 Pound (Pack of 1)
The roast Changes from batch to batch I noticed. It does not taste the same as the first bag I bought. I bought the decafffeinated whole bean. You want a coffee brew with options of brew strength to adapt to the coffee. I brew usually on rich brew but that is not working any more with the coffee. Overall the coffee is fairly pleasant though a recent brew u deducted a star otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. It does not taste like decafffeinated coffee old times. They use the Swiss Method System for making the beans decafffeinated. It taste like regular but it caffeine does sort dance on the taste buds with extra flavor. Overall this is fairly pleasant decafffeinated coffee if you can use whole beans. I mix it with 50% Barries House Decafffeinated coffee grind both in my Kingrinder K6 using a Ninja CP 307 Tea and Coffee specialty brewer. Overall it the best already roasted coffee I had. I slightly fruity with notes of berries and chocolate. ... show more

  • Delicious smooth coffee
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
This whole bean coffee is quote tasty and smooth with no bitter note anywhere in the flavor profile. 8 o'clock coffee is my go to when I want a cup of good coffee. I prefer whole bean as the taste of freshly ground coffee and it stays fresh much longer.

  • Excellent flavor
Flavor Name: Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I love this coffee. I buy the whole bean and grind each day when I make a pot. I was surprised to see this item sold very close to the local store price. Smooth and balanced flavor.
