  • Excellent Product
I set my incubator temperature at 99.5 and humidity at 55% for the first 18 days then set the humidity at 70% for the last 3 days. I hatched 25 out of 27 eggs (92%). The humidity pump held between 52% and 60% for the first 18 days which is good. I'm very pleased with the product. I will try to remember to update my review after the hatching season. I'm curious to see how the humidity pump holds up but so far so good. ... show more

  • Worked very well!
I have a small homestead and recently decided to add some chickens. It is a lot of trial and error for me. I have several incubators and like this particular design as it's safer for newly hatched chicks to not get trapped and die. It's a simple construction and the eggs are positioned on the bottom of the incubator and then motor just turns the guide to roll the eggs slightly. When the eggs hatch, there's no room for the chicks to drop down and get stuck. The motor turns the guide slowly so that the chicks don't get stuck in the guides so easily. Other designs may have rods that are suspended an inch or two above and the hatchlings can get stuck and die. The heaters can keep the temperature constant and at 100 degrees for my chicken eggs. They tell you in colder rooms to keep the shipping foam to help insulate and prevent cooling - and it does work. The way the water guides channel on the outer ring of the incubator actually helps to conserve water usage yet keep the humidity levels at the desired level. I have one incubator that uses a lot of water (as in a quart every 2 days) because of the poor design. There are 2 egg holder/guides - one for chicken eggs and the other for small eggs (like quail size). Overall, it works very well and I have hatched a couple of dozen eggs already in the past month with no fatalities. ... show more

  • Nice for the price but not for large chicken eggs
It is not a bad incubator but turner does not turn large chicken eggs. The middle slot is a tiny bit bigger. Humidity control does it own thing not by setting, off by 15%. Even with them set back hatch rate was good. Light for candling was very strong.

  • Good for Chicken Eggs or Smaller, Auto Turn, Room to Hatch Safely
This seems like a solid incubator with a lot of good features to make small homestead poultry hatching easy. Although it has a large viewing dome, which is great, this is only for chicken-sized and smaller eggs like pheasant. Duck eggs would be too big for this. I like that it both automatically turns the eggs, but also allows plenty of room for when chicks hatch so they aren't too crowded or get injured. It has a digital control panel with timers and sensors to maintain temperature and humidity, and alerts if there are any problems. The instructions actually offer a lot of very useful tips for people who have never hatched bird eggs before about timing, controlling humidity, how to prepare for hatching, and common issues, which I haven't seen with other incubators. I would definitely recommend reading it thoroughly. Also, when placing the lid back on top, make sure it is fully seated all the way around to ensure heat isn't leaking out and moisture dissipating as it is critical to maintain the right temperature and humidity to get the highest hatch rate and ensure the chicks are healthy. ... show more

  • Complicated and the instructions suck
We like the size 30 eggs but the humidifier machine wasn’t working correctly, then it was not keeping warm, the eggs were cold or room temp after 4-5 days even though the incubator said it was at 99.5 degrees. I do not recommend

  • Circular Design; Completely Automatic; Humidy Water Pump
I selected this product because of it circular, compact design and the multitude of features that include. I like the clear dome that sits on top of the main rotating unit. The dome houses the main function board of this unit. I appreciated the large fan located in the top that provide the necessary air circulation. Additionally, on top, the buttons that control the unit are easy accessible, retract well when pressed and the red, digital display is clear for reading. Additionally, I appreciated the candler and how bright the LED light is. The base is very unique and the rotating egg tray has grooves around the edge which catches the gears of the automatic egg turning motor. I like that the motor is small and does not produce any sound when it is activated. The added feature is the humidity water pump which is included. I like that it is power directly from the main egg turning unit and I am happy that the water tubing is also include, showing great thickness and durability. Overall, this incubator has high quality and because of its all inclusiveness, I find the value for the money to be extremely high. I am very happy to run across the product and to have it has part of my plans to raise baby chickens this spring. ... show more

  • Carefree Incubation
This is the best incubator I've used. I know that most people will be using these for chicken eggs, but I used them for quail. 30 quail eggs took up only a quarter of the space, so the whole thing would hold 120 eggs. Additionally, it's easy to set up, and it reliably rotates the eggs every 90 minutes. A clever design element is that it draws water from an outside reservoir, so the amount of water it holds isn't limited by the size of the incubator, making this one more hands-off and easy to refill than others I've used. ... show more

  • Intelligent Incubator for Chicken Eggs
The straightforward design and user-friendly interface of this sleek and contemporary incubator came to my attention the instant I removed it from its packaging. With this incubator's sophisticated automated humidity control and perfect temperature regulation, the days of guessing and making continual manual changes are over. This incubator eliminates the need for guesswork and eliminates the need for constant maintenance. To simulate the natural process of a hen that is laying eggs, the incubator spins the eggs in a manner that is both gentle and constant. This is accomplished with the easy push of a button. This clever feature not only guarantees that the embryo will grow to its full potential, but it also removes the need for manual rotation, which saves me many hours of effort that would have otherwise been spent on precise work. ... show more
