2 negatives but lots of positives. 1. Negative - Kind of a pain to put together because its like they updated the parts but not the instructions. not a huge deal and I would still by this thing 1000x over. 2. Negative - The ball pit fabric is kind of thin and will start to rip a little bit. That said, it ripped a little at first and my kids have only gotten larger and more destructive and this thing is still hanging on without issue. Positives to save you reading time I'll get to the point. I have twin boys that are now 22months (28 and 25lbs). They are crazy on this thing! climbing, swinging, shoving, zig zagging, plopping and more. This is by far one of the greatest things I have bought for them. Yes you need to buy a lot of balls I think we have 600-700 but thats with anything with a ball pit. My brother even bought it for his kid after seeing ours. Want something to occupy your little ones through winter, this is it! I am sure by 3 they will be less interested but who knows. if your kids are younger than 3 this will change your life, for the better! ... show more

My toddlers LOVE this, and I also loved that it was really easy to assemble, with clear instructions, even though it has lots of parts. It is extremely durable, I love the bright colors, and I love how much they can do with it. It’s more than a slide. It’s a climbing gym, a basketball hoop, tunnels, and a special big basket to sit in with pillows and have a little hideout (the ball pen). If you do want to use the ball pen as a ball pen, I would recommend buying way more balls! But it does come with some balls already. It’s also very easy to clean. It is super fun.     • Awesome gift for 1 year old, but you'll need to buy way more balls
My 1 year old loved this as a Christmas gift. The instructions are pretty sketchy and it took me about 2 hours to set up, because several times I installed things incorrectly and had to partially uninstall it. Maybe that's my fault, but nearly all the parts are identical looking so it is easy to miss something. Anyway, the actual function of it is great. The slide is great, the steps up to the slide are good for a toddler, and the little yellow mesh basket provides an inordinate amount of fun to a kid for reasons I don't understand. I have two drawbacks to note, though. (1) You are only given 50 balls for the ball pit. Once you dump them in, you'll realize that you need about 400 balls, not 50. You can pick up more balls at toy stores but that is going to cost you around $100 more to get to the right amount (i.e. having the pit half way full). (2) There is no way for a small kid to get in and out of the ball pit. My 1 year old just kind of stands outside of it and shakes the structure when he wants to get in. I don't know of a perfect solution, but I think they could have installed some kind of little step stool or something to make it easier for a small toddler to get in and out. I know that leads to a whole new series of risks, because then your kid could potentially climb up the step and then fall head first into the ball pit. Regardless, it is a small annoyance that my kid cannot get in and out of the pit on his own when he wants to. ... show more

    • Awesome! Worth the money!
I got this a couple month ago for my baby girl and she loves it! She climbs all over it going up and down the slide. Doesnt come with enough balls good thing we had some from her old ball pit, but u will need to grab more. Its easy to get confused putting it together but its pretty easy to figure out and if you mess up pretty easy to fix. Took me about an hour to put together but its my daughters favorite thing so its worth it! ... show more

I decided after admiring the durability of this play set for a YEAR, it was finally time to leave a review. This thing has survived daily use from a rowdy 1 yr old (now 2 yr old), his cousins, and some 4 yr olds who climbed to the top bar and swan-dove into the ball pit. Sure, there are a few connections that are starting to feel loose, and the ball pit fabric is starting to rip, but it is still sturdy enough for me (a grown adult) to go down the slide. It has surpassed all my expectations. But like the other reviews mentioned, you definitely need to buy more balls (we felt like 250 was about halfway full) and it will take some time, a clear mind, and a contractors license to put this thing together. (Kidding! Sort of!) ... show more

This kids gyms is the best value for its price! My 18 month old loves it and has been playing nonstop for a week. The reason I didn’t rate it higher is because the bars are made of plastic and not metal. Also, the instructions were somewhat mislabeled and very faded to where it was hard to make out the diagram of parts. It took me about 2 hours (all of nap time) to assemble by myself and I had a few issues with the connectors not clicking into place. But overall it seems very sturdy for my one child. I’m not sure if it would hold up with 2 bigger kids though. As for the balls, it comes with 50 but it’s really not enough. I bought another 200 balls and that just covers the bottoms. I will probably get another 200 (450 total) to fill it up half way. ... show more
