Okay, probably not what you’re expecting, but this tool box is what I have been looking for to store my nail supplies! I do my acrylic nails at home and have ordered two cosmetic cases that didn’t have deep enough drawers. So, I found this and it works perfectly. I can fit EVERYTHING, even my nail drill. The top storage measures 2.25 tall (open) and the three drawers measure 2.375. The only complaint is that the lid is hard to keep open on its own. One slight bump of the box and it will slam down. There are several small dents and the drawers are don't close flush. The bottom draw is angled incorrectly. It sticks out on one end when closed. It's still pretty nice and I'm sure I'll add a few more dents.

Bazinga! It is nice though. It's not a tool box you're going to want to throw around, but for the money, it's well made and painted. I like the handles on the side because even a small tool box can quickly get very very heavy. If you've ever lugged one of these things with 50 lbs of tools and a briefcase handle, you know what I'm saying. I bought this so that I could bring tools from my basement workshop to the garage for special projects. After 3 months, it's doing the job so I gotta give it 5! Nice box. ... show more

i may have had differing opinion , HOWEVER , purchased the GEARWRENCH box week prior ; no comparison GEARWRENCH better choice . this is nice box , but GEARWRENCH few bucks less and better built . this red box has only 2 (+) for it ; larger size giving all 3 drawers more depth And , the side handles are great addition . also , it is NOT packaged well enuff for the LONG shipping these red things go thru . the packaging had minor damage as expected , HOWEVER latches are flimsy and had to be STRAIGHTENED to even open the thing , due to simple package box wrinkles . IF didnt have these faults , the SIZE wood kauze me to buy another , but not if caint make the trip to begin with . ... show more

Well I've got to say this was not the most expensive one and I looked over the whole selection that Amazon had to offer, but at this price point I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the sturdiest but it would appear to be sturdy enough. The grab handles on each side make it easy to manipulate in and out of a sport utility or station wagon or even to pull it out of a truck without totally tweaking your back. The drawer slides operated well and the crinkle coat paint appears to be something that will last a good while .I just don't see how at $70 you can get a better tool box with Amazon online. ... show more
