  • Large buttons
I purchased this item to help my kids practice their times tables. I have yet to have them use it, but I played a few of the games myself. I think the various options will help my kids learn the facts as well as better understand multiples and factors. The item I received has a volume control and a headphone jack. I haven't tested the jack, but the volume control turned the volume off completely and could be adjusted to be easily heard. I'm not sure how durable this game will be, but it has nice rubber feet for setting it on a hard surface. My son has fine motor delays and I like that the answer buttons are large enough that he can press them without having to use one finger. The "game" keeps track of how long it takes to complete all of the facts for the number chosen, so hopefully some friendly competition and trying to better one's own time will help motivate them to use it. ... show more

  • Fun way to practice math!
My child loves this, and I love that there’s volume control. With 6 kids, we try to do flash cards also, but this is a fun way for him to practice on his own while thinking it’s a video game.

  • Great math game!
This is a great teaching tool for multiplication and division. It makes it fun! And with the MULTIPLE choices to select from, it makes the user really think/calculate the answer.

  • Doesn't do 11 or 12 times tables
The fact that 12 wasn't on here makes this not worth it for me because my 3rd grader struggles with those. Kept anyway because it helps refresh the others. Wish I would have known though so I could keep shopping for something more thorough.

  • Volume control would be nice
We purchased both the addition/subtraction and multiplication/division versions. Both are great educational learning tools. I only wish there was a volume control, they are very loud.

  • Fantastic!
Kids weren’t into it at first - “ugh math!” But I put it in the car and they started fighting over it 😂 love this so much! Their math skills have definitely improved and they’ve grown confidence too. Keeping it in the car was a game changer.

  • Serves its purpose
Bought this for the little one to practice multiplication on without constantly hovering to make sure she didn’t change Apps on the tablet. She enjoys it for shorts bursts. Has a few different game but the interface to get to which one is which isn’t super intuitive. Once you figure it out, it serves its purpose. ... show more

  • So far so good
We just received this machine. He picked it up on his own. And yes, she does say, “you’re so stupid” he cracks up. He just turned 8. He knows he’s not stupid, but does need to MEMORIZE his multiplication facts. Seems schools don’t stress the tables need to be memorized which he’s tried to follow their methods and has struggled a bit. Now it’s my turn to teach him throughout the summer. I guarantee I’ll do a better job and ge will have them down by start of school. No number lines.. counting on fingers. That’s what’s stupid. Lol. But if you have a child like mine, which being called stupid in counting by numbers in the numbers game on this system, with a sense of humor and confidence in themselves, then thus might work for you. Any learning game he reaches for that’s not a video game, is a good thing. I’ll provide an update as to its effectiveness after he’s used awhile. ... show more
