Indicator light failed on an ATV. Only need one light but these were inexpensive so I got this assortment. Checked out a couple using a standard 9 volt battery and they were plenty bright.

I like the fact that they are already biased for 12 V. I have a project that will need to have numerous LEDs installed. I already tried to utilize resistors that I have for two 5mm Leds and found that the current flow required for that use requires a 1/2-watt resistor. The size simply makes the installation look bad. I ordered this for my son's Droideka that he built and displayed at a show. It was a surprise to do this for him and he absolutely loved it. I like how long the cables are because I was able to run them through the arms of the Droid and then I wired them to an AC adapter. The blinking lights are my favorite part with it because it makes it look like it's firing. Really high quality lights that have been running for many hours. Was the perfect solution to solder this in place of an old special incandescent bulb in my 4x4 switch in my 2003 F150! The media could not be loaded. As described! I got the 3mm flickering red lights to use in props for certain effects. The 3mm are pretty bright. Tested a few with a 9 volt battery to be sure they worked before use. They look different in video vs in person of course but the video will give you an idea of what to expect.
