The scoring portion is easy to use and the measurements along the top help make sure your scores are even and accurate. There is storage for the scoring tool as well. The paper cutter is sharp and you can use the same "ruler" to make sure your cuts are the length you want. This little gem does fantastic work on little jobs. It's not an industrial paper cutter. However, for the price, I love it! The upside: It has both inches and centimeters for measuring (and you need to make sure whatever you choose has the measurements you want). It gives a nice clean cut. The grooves are great for scoring paper for folding and it comes with a scoring tool. It folds in half so it's easy to store and very portable. The downside (which is why I gave it four stars): you need to make some practice cuts to determine the speed and pressure that work best, otherwise it will tear the paper instead of cutting it. I can't cut more than two regular pieces of paper. I can cut cardstock but only one at a time. This is a perfect product for a scrapbooker or someone who trims photos and cards. Cuts and scores nicely but does not measure accurately. Very frustrating for me since I purchased this to make greeting cards and I was looking for a tool with some precision. I cannot use this.
