Eco tools is known for their make up brushes and blenders, therefore you would think they would make a brush cleaner that did its job the first time. This doesn’t, I wash my brushes once a week and I have found that I have to wash certain brushes twice with this product to get them clean (see the water running out of the brushes clear). The scent is clean and pleasant and the texture is smooth, not sticky or clumpy. This product is ok but not great. I am dissatisfied with Eco Tools on this one. ... show more

My brush was over due for a cleaning and this worked well to get the makeup out. I had to add the cleaner more than once, but I think if my brush hadn't been so clogged, it would have cleaned much faster.

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I have to be wary of anything that goes near my face, including this cleanser! I hadn't cleaned my brushes in...well, probably years. I don't wear makeup daily, so it just didn't occur to me. Last month, though, I finally noticed the build-up. They were wildly caked with old makeup. This product made QUICK work of the brushes! I have a brush cleaning silicone tool, and together they were squeaky clean, no smell, and no reaction/acne for me after using the tools! It was a super fast process and I didn't need a ton of product. My process: - Wet all brushes - Squeeze some of this brush cleaner on the tips of each brush (again, not a ton) and on the silicone brush cleaner - Swish the brushes back and forth across the cleaner for a few seconds, then do it under running water until the water coming out is clear - Squeeze out the excess water and leave it on a washcloth to dry It's so satisfying and I have been able to clean them multiple times now with no residue and with very little product.
