Much needed improvement over the gross old previous one I had. This thing is pretty heavy and solid. Took me a while to assemble but it says to build with 2 people lol. I still need to add the hooks and bottom piece but love the look so far. Well worth the money spent!

Directions were simple and clear, and everything fit together PERFECTLY. As in so perfectly, that it didn't seem real. Half the time I didn't even have to look to line up the holes and screws because I knew they'd be right where they should be.     • Modern freestanding over the toilet grey storage cabinet

This item came in a timely manner, and was pretty heavy in the box. The wood pieces are a darker grey wood grain color, and the legs are matte black metal. This cabinet comes unassembled. I unpacked all of the items and did a quick inventory using the enclosed instruction booklet. The main tool needed was the enclosed allen wrench, there was also a small phillips screwdriver, but I chose to use my own standard size to exert more torque. The starter holes are predrilled, so it makes it fairly easy to know where to put the screws. Basically you assemble the box first, which was a little tricky as I was working alone, then attach the metal legs which are basically hairpin style and attach to either side of the box. I worked on top of the cardboard from the box to minimize potential scratches. Assembly took me several hours as I was working alone and carefully following the instructions, and again, this item is heavy, and you need to pick it up and turn it over etc during assembly. I found the instructions easy to follow, and had organized all of the screws and pieces so as not to mix them up, also the screws are in numbered baggies that correspond to the instructions. I also used a hammer to insert the plastic feet into the bottom of the metal legs. Once assembled, I excitedly took it into the bathroom, where to my horror, it was too short to fit over my toilet with the seat lid in the upright position. Since the description said "fits over standard toilets" I did not think to look at the dimensions prior to buying it. I slept on the problem, and the next day came up with a plan. I removed the legs from both sides, moved the box up one level of screw hole (approx 3-4 inches), and reattached the legs. Now it fit nicely over the toilet. I moved the steadying bar that is supposed go towards the bottom of the legs up under the box in the now empty lower screw holes and that helped steady the legs a bit and because the bar wouldn't fit behind my toilet where it is supposed to go. Once I attached the wall stabilization brackets to the wall and the cabinet, it was plenty sturdy. My biggest complaint is that the knobs provided with the cabinet are a light natural wood color, and i did not like the look, so I bought new black matte metal knobs and attached those instead. The end result was beautiful, and this is a very substantial and modern looking cabinet. Please pay attention to the measurements Before buying/assembling, haha! ... show more

Ok, first off it looks just like the picture. I got the grey one and it is very pretty. The box is very heavy if you are by yourself. Be careful when you open it, the 2 pages instructions are NOT in the bag with the hardware. ( well, mine was not). It was mixed with the shipping papers and to be honest, I did panic since I could not find it at first. The instructions are pretty easy and similar to IKEA but I wish there was a few writing also. I am a female of 5'1 and 130lbs and I did it all alone. It is doable BUT, if you have someone else to help you.. please ASK. Lol I built the while thing to find out that the end that 2 of the shelves were NOT where they were suposed to so I had to take it almost all apart. When you get to instructions number 2, BE CAREFUL the shelf that goes there has 2 little holes on each sides for the doors. I wish on the instructions it would of been circled or written so me doing it twice could of been avoided. Also, one of the door slipped out of the whole while I tried to put it and it chipped the finished. Can't really see it, but it is very easy to mess it up. Once done, of course I had to figure out how to put it over the toilet since I can not slide it behind... once again.. VERY HEAVY! The shelves are not that wide so if you have big towels like me.. two can only fit if you wish to store other products. But that's ok, bcs I use it for personal stuff, toilet paper, hand soap etc.. Overall, I really like it.. and if you need any help building it.. I have become an expert🤣🤣🤣 ... show more

First let me say, I have always hated over the toilet cabinets!!!… I sincerely mean hate. In the past I have always found them to be flimsy and cheap looking. My situation, I have a small half bath with no storage for TP etc. and was in need of a compact solution. After all my searching this appeared to be the best option. I was very reluctant to purchase this as there was only one review (it was positive) and my overall loathing of over the toilet cabinets. To my surprise, I was more than happy with this cabinet! Not only is the color beautiful but it looks amazing put together. All edges of each board are finished, no raw wood edging for the boards that face the wall. It’s extremely sturdy, the adjustable feet make this possible so you don’t rely completely on the levelness of the floor. The doors even have magnets. Now for assembly… the total time to assemble was 1 hour 30 min. Now, you could be better at this than me and go faster but I took a slow and steady wins the race approach. All hardware was well labeled and came in separate zip lock style baggies (extra pieces are provided!). All necessary tools were provided. All boards were clearly labeled. To top it all off the instructions were clear and concise! I would not hesitate to recommend this product to another person! If I were to nitpick one little thing it would be about the adjustable feet (which I love this feature), I wish they had a little rubber on the bottom or felt. A buffer between the plastic and the floor. I don’t write many reviews but with this product having so few I felt compelled. Excellent product! ... show more
