    • Good product, not wide enough
This is a good product. I like that it clips to the top of the window, rather than using suction cups at the top, which inevitably would leave the area above the suction cups exposed. It installs quickly and easily, pulls down smoothly, and retracts easily with a button press. My only criticism of the product is, at 15", it's not wide enough, meaning a great chunk of the car window remains exposed to sun penetration. Now, as every car window is different, I'm sure it's difficult to come up with something that is wide enough to be useful but narrow enough to be "universal", but 15" seems way too narrow. Perhaps 20" would be more reasonable, and if not truly universal, at least would be universally superior on any window where it fits. I did not remove a star because the listed size of 15" is accurate, but if the size were more useful I would buy several packs of these for various cars. ... show more

    • Good shade, weird to install
These car shades block a good deal of sunlight into my car. My child is no longer blinded by the light from the sun, so they aren't screaming every few minutes now. The install was a bit odd, though. It came with extra parts that I didn't realize were extra. I kept trying to use them since nothing in the package said they were extra. After a few minutes, I figured it out. One blind came with the parts attached while the second did not. No big deal, but I wonder if it was jostled in transit. I got these because I've got my grand babies in the car sometimes. The shades come with two sets of window hooks, two different lengths. The short ones were too short so they pinched when the window was all the way up, but the longer ones were fine. I think most cars are going to need the longer ones. The instructions don't talk about the extra set but they came in handy. I like the clip mount system, it doesn't leave a gap at the top. The suction cup at the bottom holds well. They don't mention how to roll the shade back up, there is a small button on the right hand side that accomplishes that. All in all these work well and are inexpensive.
