  • Good, helpful, and affordable product
Overall, it is a good and helpful product. And I recommend it. Well made and sturdy. Easy to assemble and drive. The breaks work, but don't stop the cart entirely or immediately. That has caused some moments of panic. It is difficult to go from floor to carpet or over-the-floor transition strips. The bag is very convenient, allowing me some "independence" since I can carry the ice pack myself and grab a drink or snack. It would be great if the bag could be raised with the handlebar and perhaps have a cup holder. (Ideas for the next version😀?) However, the narrow seat doesn't support the cast/boot safely. I have fallen twice on my left side (which is my bad leg) because the cast and leg are wider than the seat. The cast slid and slipped out of the seat. And I ended up on the floor with the cart on the injured ankle. The seat is also hard, so after a little while, it's uncomfortable, and it causes some pain, which is why I use it as a tricycle sometimes. I have tried other items to aid mobility during my recovery time. And I have found out the hard way that these products (as 99% of everything else) are not constructed or aimed at fat people. No, because it doesn't support the weight, but because it doesn't consider different body dimensions. ... show more

  • Well constructed and easy to use.
This scooter is well designed and constructed. Assembly instructions were pretty easy to follow, though some components were preassembled and one was a bit problematic. The piece that holds the front wheel assembly to the frame was apparently tightened (crookedly) by a gorilla. I had to beat it with a hammer and then use a large pair of channel lock pliers to take it apart so I could attach the front wheels. That aside, all went well. One of the brakes was bent out of position, also, but the same channel locks took care of that. The scooter is very sturdy and maneuverable, the pad for one's leg is much thicker than some others and is quite comfortable. The wheels are hard plastic and even with the brakes locked the scooter could slide a bit on a hard surface, but I have not found that to be a problem. The very best mobility assistants can't protect against the user's carelessness in every situation. I totally recommend this scooter. It's saved a lot of wear and tear on my wrists, elbows, and shoulders from using crutches. Buy it. And BTW, I looked into renting one from a medical supply store before I bought this. They wanted $100 a month. I needed this for just over a month and all fees included it cost $98 and change. A really good investment. ... show more

  • good product, wrong size
Overall, this was a very good product. It was sturdy, comfortable, and rolled well on smooth-ish surfaces. It was well worth the money. It definitely did the job. However, I'm 5'1 and found it doesn't quite get short enough for me. Using it for a long time sometimes gave me hip pain. Plus, a I found it was difficult to maneuver around the house and transport. If you're short like me, look for a smaller product. ... show more

  • Easy to put together.
Exactly what I needed after foot reconstruction surgery. Have to be non weight bearing for 6 weeks and crutches were not going to cut it. I can get around the house a lot easier. Very sturdy.

  • Easy to install and super comfortable!
This scooter was not the first one I’ve ever bought, but it is the nicest! -I was shocked at how soft the knee pad was, unlike the other one I got that was hard rubber with no padding. It’s even comfortable to sit on. -I am a teen girl and I was able to build this completely by myself in less than an hour with the instructions and tools included (it does come partially built so don’t worry). -The breaks work with no fault and lock. -It easily folds down and fits in my very tiny car and is really light. -The removable basket is super convenient and will hide and protect my purse and other stuff like water bottles, umbrellas, etc. -It was MUCH cheaper than what insurance wanted me to pay to just rent one, and it’s more affordable than others online. -I did a miniature “earthquake test” on it and kinda knocked it around and rattled it and it was completely stable. ... show more

  • Not to bad for price but to make it awesome you need better tires.
I am 6'2" 220 lbs and just recently had foot surgery. I bought this scooter based on reviews from others with the same height weight as I. Pros. Today i scooter to my kids school and back with out any problems (the scooter is pretty fast). No pain in the damage area of my ankle. No tripping over my self. Felt fine under my weight. The cushion held up. I like the bag a great deal and was able to hook up a couple of molle pouches to the handle bars. The shafts are just the right size to hook up bike lights. Cons. The tires are hard plastic and i felt the vibration big time in my hands and wrist. (I ordered new wheels and will use red bones bearings in them). Due to the tires the scooter has a big wheels feel. Poor grip to surfaces Basically the tires are my biggest problem. Also the brakes will not stop you on a dime. One has to work this knee scooter like a stand up scooter or skate board and use your foot to brake. Except for having to buy new tires it a good scooter. If you are OK with hard plastic tires go for it. If your willing to spend 45.00 on 4 new tires to have better grip and control go for it. If your welling to treat this like a stand up scooter or skate board having to use your foot to break go fo it. Otherwise don't As of 11/16 I recieved my new 8" PU medical grade wheels and replaced the original ones on the scooter. I didn't like the bearing on the wheels so I switched them out with the original bearings. The scooter now rides nice and smooth with far less vibrations felt in the wrist. It also can now stop on a dime. I think in time I will have to replace or add memory foam to the knee seat. ... show more
