I have a 5-year-old front-load washer with a "clean washer" setting. I also soften my water. This combination created so many "cleaning bubbles" that some of them spilled out of the back of the washer creating a small puddle (a single 9"x10" terry washcloth was all I needed to soak up the spill). If you read the instructions it says to use 3 x's if there's a smell. We're on well, so it can get real funky. I do not walk past the washer since and go PEW...... that's a keeper in my book. Plus you get a lot for your $ and it's eco friendly which I definitely care about. My footprint is small against the whole, however I try hard, since I was a wee one, to be nice to our beautiful Planet. ... show more

The directions say to use 2 tabs so make sure you consider that when looking at how many you get vs how long it will last. We used 2 in the front load washer and holy suds. I am surprised that the too many suds warning didn't come on. It did not leave a smell which is nice. So far they are a winner.
