  • This VESA wall mount does exactly what it should
But...the visual/graphic(non-text) install sheet is missing a few significant details. A tiny bit of thinking may be required to assemble and mount this properly. Still, no complaints.

  • Very impressed
We were very impressed with the quality of this product. It is sturdy and was super easy to mount on the wall and attach the television. We mounted a 58" and it has made moving the TV for viewing effortless.

  • Great extendability/tilt but fails to corner well
FIRST THE PLUSES: This mount has outstandingnextendability from the wall. It also has great left and right tilt from center. It’s tilt from top to bottom is possible but limits which limits glare removal at times. It seems sturdy and well constructed and the price is right. NEXT THE MIDDLING BIT: The mounts we bought appear to be sagging just a little bit from their arms after being hung for nearly two months. We are being very careful to lift them a bit as we extend them out and push them back against the wall so as not to exacerbate this condition. NOW OUR STORY WITH THE MOUNTS LIMITATIONS: We bought two of these with the hopes of hanging two TVs and their accoutrements cordlessly on our living and bedroom corner walls. We wanted the TVs up off furniture yes but we wanted all cords, routers, Roku box and satellite receivers HIDDEN from sight either within the wall cavities or behind the TVs. We succeeded in getting the TVs mounted and all cords n’ devices hidden thanks to James our electrician. Yay. But despite James’ expertise we didn’t get the precise TV placement we needed in either room. Boo. Precision was not possible with these particular mounts. They certainly must work well for many installations based on reviews. However, many buyers will need precision placement due to architectural limitations, cable/satellite service location, available wall space or the inability to rearrange furnishings to suit the limits of their chosen mount. Biggest Lesson Learned: Know Your Studs, Your TV and Your Obstacles Before Ordering Any Mount, TIPS: Start by defining where you can accommodate a wall hung TV based on your cable or satellite access if any. Pre-determine your desired TV location. Then locate your internal wall studs from which your TV will hang. Determine whether you are limited to a one stud or a two stud mount by these stud locations and your television’s weight. Heavier TVs deserve two stud mounts if possible. Know PRECISELY where you want/need your TV’s center when the TV is folded neatly back against the wall. Take careful note of all obstacles your newly mounted TV may encounter. You will need to know your VESA mount number too. Check your TV operating manual for this or go online with the manufacturer. You will need your TV model number. The VESA is all about the holes predrilled for mounts on the back of your TV. Write all this stuff down! Including the weight of your TV BEFORE you shop for a TV wall mount. Then, while researching mounts, make sure your choice works with your VESA configuration, your stud locations and has exactly the left right adjustability to center your TV precisely on mark when folded back against the wall. Do not click “buy” until your “fly”! DETAILS: This particular EchoGear mount lacks the side to side adjustability we needed for perfect corner placement in our rooms. It works “okay enough” in the living room. In the bedroom it is a flop aesthetically. The BR TV overlaps our draperies and actually encroaches on the patio door jam. With 2 more inches of mount adjustment the TV set could snug our left corner wall as we hoped. See Photo . Now we must exchange the mount for one with greater adjustability. Plus we need to narrow the drapery rod width. Admittedly at only 42inches this is a big TV for our narrow wall space. Being old and decrepit means hiring help and TV installers as good as James don’t come cheap here in California. Bummer. In the living room the TV is also mounted between a corner and a draped patio door. Luckily, the wall stud and thIs mount played better together. The TVs right edge just avoids banging the right corner wall. The TV’s left edge encroaches on the drapes but not nearly as bad as in the bedroom. Narrowing the drapery rod needs doing but that’s cheaper than hiring someone to manhandle the TV, its hidden accessories and all the wires without creating yet more holes in our bedroom wall. END OF STORY: We spent hours determining stud placement, TV weight and TV set outside measurements. We knew our satellite cable locations and our furniture, wall and windowed door locations required corner mounting the two TVs. We knew one wall demanded a single stud mount. We knew we needed much extendability and good tilt left and right. But we didn’t realize the mounts needed so much permanent TV side to side adjustability. Corner mounting your TV between obstacles will require 1 to 4 inches of mount adjustability to avoid obstructions and look properly centered. Hopefully by sharing - others may choose more wisely and enjoy greater success first time round. ... show more

  • Easy to install and quality build.
Using this to mount a 55” TCL TV and it installed seamlessly. Would buy this again. Study construction and easy to assemble.

  • Well Built, comes with everything, works great, just get it.
I'd been thinking of making more surface space by hanging my tv from a corner of a wall in my living room. Did some research... there are hundreds of choices, but, here's why I picked this one. *It has the ability to mount on a wall on a single stud. *It has a way to adjust the tilt by hand if you set it up correctly. *The roughly 18" extension is about 1/2 the size of the horizontal measurement of my 40" LCD screen, so, it allows the maximum swivel for the tv to swing to face one direction or the opposite. *There is always a stud on a protruding corner wall of a room, so, the single stud wall mounting was optimal for my situation. *I really liked the fact that the mount had a "hook" feature so that you could hand the TV on the extension arm and it will hand there until you can go around the back and bolt it in place. ***Finally, a pleasant surprise, (that is probably included with most brands) it had mounting bolts in different sizes with extensions, so, It didn't matter that I bought this tv years ago and did not have bolts to attach the tv to the mount. Full disclosure: I am skilled and have tools. You will need a Drill (cordless is fine) and the correct drill bit for the lag bolts that go in the wall. (don't remember the size so, you may have to buy one, or borrow a friends if you don't own a set of drill bits. You will also need a screwdriver (Phillips) and a ratchet set or the correct size wrench for the bolts. The kit comes with an Allen wrench for some of its fittings. This is really not hard to do...because of my skill set, it only took me about 15 minutes. Things to consider.... *This mount is for installing into a wooden stud (through one layer of drywall) or into concrete or similar surface only. You cannot attach a tv mount to drywall without a stud. It cannot take the load. *A cable raceway or other cable management system to route all the cables, so it doesn't look like an electrical hazard is leading away from your tv. *You may need to buy longer cables so that you can fit them into a cable management system. * investigate how high you want your tv. Don't put it too high or your neck will be hurting in the morning and you'll be like, "why is my neck hurting"?. I mounted mine to where the bottom is at about 4'. No neck aches. That's about it. If you read this all the way through, you should know a lot about how to think about buying and installing a mount. No matter which one you buy, you can install it. Just takes a few tools and a little planning. ... show more

  • Super adaptable
This bracket came with extra bits to extend to various TVs which is great. The Roku TV I had required a bit of creativity to reach all the screw holes but it's very stable. I do wish it was a little more low profile against the wall but it isn't in the way.
