Bought this to use on my food truck but it’s very flimsy. The metal is thin and cheap. Luckily, I only used it to hold foam trays, cups and napkins. Would not trust a microwave on there.

I originally got this for extra storage shelving for my kitchen since it is on the smaller side with limited storage. I like how this comes with everything you need to mount it - including the screws and mounting adhesive - which made my life easier as I didn't need to run out for extra supplies. If you do decide to use the screws, you will need your own drill, of course. I would suggest using the screws for a sturdier application especially if you do plan on keeping your microwave on it. I live in a 900 sq. ft. off-grid cabin. Storage space is at a premium, so I'm always looking for creative ways to add vertical shelf storage. I had the opportunity to order this ECHLI retractable stainless steel wall rack (black). Assembly was easy and straightforward. Because I wanted it to handle some weight, I needed to mount it to the wall studs. Being expandable, I could get the correct width across a three-stud span. This shelf is well made and easy to attach to the wall with two slide plates that mate to the shelf supports. Cleaning will be easy as the shelf slides up and off the wall.
