The 9x12 rug arrived within 4 days of ordering. I opened it up and there were many folds. My husband helped me open it up and position it. I did place a protective pad down prior to placement. I then proceeded to vacuum the rug, concentrating on the creases and they smoothed out considerably prior to furniture placement. There is a slight off gas, which I anticipate fading over the course of the evening. My dog did not seem to mind. The rug came with instructions on cleaning and care. It looks beautiful and I feel like my family room is now complete! I’ve done a lot of shopping around and there is nothing like it on the market in the amount that I was willing to invest. Beautiful rug but as i was putting it where my previous 5x7 rug it seemed quite a bit smaller so I measured it and it’s like a 4.5”x6.5ft The back says 5x7 so this was interesting Definitely makes a big difference. Be sure to measure as I’m sure this isn’t the only one
