Earth Friendly Products Oxo-Brite, Color-Safe Whitener & Brightener, 57.6-Ounces (3.6 LB.) (Pack of 2). In the wash: Add ½ scoop for brightening. For larger or very soiled loads, use 1 full scoop. For toploaders, pour detergent and OxoBrite into the machine first. Fill machine with water before adding laundry. For HE machines, simply add detergent and OxoBrite to dispenser. For tough stains that need more love, presoak for best results.

This is a wonderful oxygen bleach product. I use it often in my whites to remove stains and dinginess. If simply putting a few scoops in the load doesn't work on certain stains, then I go to my heavy duty stain method. I put water in a large soup pot, submerge the stained items, and heat on the stove to nice and hot (but not boiling). I add a scoop or two of this powder, then add the clothes, then add another scoop or two and stir. I add a lid and leave it to soak for 12-24 hours, then wash normally. It almost always removes the stains (and when it doesn't, it usually fades them significantly). It has been great for cloth diapering- keeps my diapers nice and white. I've never had a problem with it fading the colors of my clothes though. Really great product! ... show more

I’ve been using a scoop of this in every load plus their regular detergent and wow. Clothes are super clean and smell great. I use wool dryer balls and a fabric sheet and I never ever smell the fabric sheet and this time I could and the clothes just smelled extra clean.

Truly an Ah...mazing product that works wonders on white Under Armour cleaning of shirts, caps and can't wait to discover more! As what's been mentioned before by others this stuff is unbelievable! I had a small container of this stuff around before I purchased from Amazon, and then I read the reviews to see how I could use this more. Admittedly, I had been a little lazy, well a lot lazy , on how to use this until I read how others have benefited from its uses. I took the plunge and soaked some of my dingy (and one had some pink mixed into to it too) white Under Armour UA HotGear shirts, and saw the drastic improvement in just soaking them in a warm water solution of Oxo Brite. The results: Unbelievable! I have some rugged rubber/latex gloves that I used them to clean the inside of them (they had become a little moldy/ grimy on the inside and once again I was pleased to see the great results. By accident, I discovered how this stuff cleans plastic too. I discovered this by soaking some of my running/biking socks (Dry Max and Injinji socks) in a plastic sink container filled with a solution of Oxo Brite. My socks and plastic sink containers looks new. I don't think I will ever use Bleach again, not that I use it a lot. Amazon and Amazon's reviewers come through for me again, and I couldn't be happier. Thank YOU! Thank YOU!....Amazon I wasn't one of your earlier users when YOU began in 1995ish, but I have been a big believer in Amazon since 2000 and I remind my friends it's one of the best Social Media place to participate (reviewers opinions) and one of the originals. I am in the market for really good non-toxic cleaners. So far I'm very pleased with this item. I use it as an all purpose cleaner for a variety of things and it's doing an incredible job! It even keeps my dehumidifier mold-free (I put a scoop in the bucket every time it's been full and I've had to empty it. If it sits around awhile, it can get moldy, really defeating the whole purpose, but this stuff has worked like champ keeping the dehumidifier clean. It looses a point/star because it comes in plastic (a carcinogen that's killing us and poisoning our environment). So, I'd love to see this product offered in a cardboard box like borax, but the product itself has worked really well. If you're worried about plastic destroying our health and the environment, please write to the company and help put pressure on them to package it in a cardboard box. They seem very concerned with matters like this, and I think with a few requests, they'd actually honor it! On the bright side, at least this little tub has a handle and so makes a great little bucket that can be reused. ... show more

This product works wonders not just on laundry! It will take out wine stain on carpet and furniture. A glass of red wine was spilled on the carpet and I tried everything; a product dedicated to taking wine stains out of carpet, my steam cleaner vacuum, kosher salt, white wine, white vinegar by itself, but nothing worked. After a day, you can still see the remains of the spill. Being desperate, I decided to give this a try. I sprinkled one scoop on the carpet, a little of Eco's laundry detergent, then mixed it with white vinegar. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then used my hand-held "green machine" vacuum to vacuum up the excess liquid and granules. I couldn't believe my own eyes, the stain was completely gone! After trying for over a day unsuccessfully, I couldn't believe there was no evidence of the wine on the carpet. Eco's laundry detergent is made by the same company. Those two combined work great in ridding sweat stains and ring around the collar. Also, Eco's is friendly on the environment and your pipes! I just discovered another wonderful use! If you have a carafe that’s hard to get sparkling clean, this is your new friend. Use one scoop of Oxo Brite, white vinegar and little bit of Dawn dishwashing liquid. Let it sit overnight and rinse out. Stains be gone! ... show more

Best whitener and stain remover out there. I have tried multiple brands. And this one is the winner. For now. It does not bleach nor discolors clothes, but it does remove stains really well.

Since starting to use this product a few years ago I find myself recommending it to others all the time. It has gotten all kinds of makeup even mascara out of towels and linens. Most recent was a blood stain on a pillowcase. Soaked item in OxoBrite then washed. It is 100% clean not even a shadow of the stain!! This product is amazing but I really *hate the packaging*. It comes in a tub with huge wide top that makes it very awkward to use. I always immediately put the powder into a easier to use pour + scoop container that I got from the dollar store. ... show more
