This product was quite fun, even adults can get into it. The Dinosaur roars but then plays a kids tune when it moves around. So its not all scary for the younger kids. The contracts is funny actually. This toy works well on tile, wood and firm carpet. We even tried it on concrete but don't recommend outdoor play due to possibly losing the balls or then getting dirty. Best to use the toy indoors. This toy also has a static mode and a mobile mode. In mobile mode, it moves around after 15 or so seconds. This is great for older kids who want more of a challenge. We like the safety of this toy due to the ball material. its dense enough to go some distance but soft enough to not hurt anyone. Especially if the kids start to shot each other. This toy does not move well on shaggy carpet but can use static mode for that. Be sure to have 3 AA batteries since they are not included. ... show more

Got this for my 5 yo's birthday and it was a huge hit! The kids liked there were multiple guns so they could play together at the same time. We started with it not moving then gradually worked up to the two movement options. It can be a little more difficult for younger kids with it moving (heck, I had a hard time, haha) but that just adds to the fun! It was great. 10/10! ... show more

This toy seems great until you actually use it and realize when the balls hit the dinosaur's tongue, they dont go into his belly but instead they bounce back at you. This defeats the purpose of keeping score. However, shooting the balls out of the gun is so explosive and fun, we decided to forget about the dino and just shoot other things instead. The balls come out of the gun with force and the balls bounce off of everything so fast and furious that its just plain fun. We spend most of our time hunting down the balls that are small enough to get lost in tight spaces but that doesnt seem to hinder our fun. We like it but not for what you might think. We set up our own targets and shoot at them and dont bother with the dinosaur. The pop guns are the best part of this ensemble and the only reason we are keeping the toy. ... show more
