Got this for my messenger bag and my wife’s leather carry all. Both of the bags were pretty thirsty, and this was just the ticket. I don’t like using sponges and rags to apply these types of lotions and potions, I’d rather use my fingers. This leather balm works great on uncoated leather. It softens and protects leather. If you heat up the leather with a heat gun or a hair dryer it helps absorb it into the leather quicker. I use this on work gloves and it makes the gloves last longer and helps with breaking in the gloves when they are new. ... show more

I have many pairs of leather boots but wear them only in the cold season. That means that once or twice a year I tackle prepping and maintaining my boots for whatever the weather throws at me. I have tried many a leather conditioner, and prefer balms to liquids or sprays hands down. This Eagle product suggests applying it with my bare hands. I didn't do that, opting for microfiber cloth instead, and I think it worked great. This conditioner works as I’d hoped; the somewhat dried leather came back to life and looks beautiful. Application was easy; this goes on very smoothly, absorbs well and buffing was a simple and quick job. In one of my photos the left side boot is conditioned and the right side isn't. I know it's difficult to see, but the second photo shows both boots looking pretty spiffy and to me the before/after difference is more pronounced. These boots are about 8 years old and the leather looks like new again. I’m actually kind of excited to do the rest of my boots after finding how easy this conditioner is to work with. I have not yet worn these in rainy conditions, not my favorite thing to do with my boots but it’ll happen. Only then will I know if the protection offered by this conditioner is enough to make this a 5-star product. Worked great! I used these on my leather boots and it made them look very nice. It did darken my boots quite a bit, but I'm fine with that.

I put this on my work boots and it has helped so much. It brought them back to life and definitely conditioned them. It doesn’t take a lot so I expect this to last for quite a while. Just follow the instructions and you will help preserve and lengthen the life of your leather boots.
