Perfect if you don’t want too invest too much in your first telescope but still want a nice crisp view of the moon up-close. The picture I attached is from my iPhone 12 Pro Max attached to the telescope with the provided cell phone attachment- I hope it uploads with decent quality. The view with your eye is more crisp and you get some camera shake when trying to take pictures. I like that it comes with 2 magnifiers. The picture was taken with the close up magnifier. This was perfect to satisfy my curiosity and to show my kids the moon (although young kids would definitely not be able to use this on their own). This is small and light and comes with a backpack so I’ll be taking it with me on future camping trips. It is very easy to setup and fast too. The build quality is great. We purchased the Telescopes for Adults Astronomy, 80mm Aperture 600mm Refractor Telescope to get a closer look at the moon. But what we discovered was way more than just for our Solar System! We caught a great view of birds nesting! It’s an excellent gift for beginners interested in bird watching or our solar system. This telescope is worth the price and made well for small hands. For this price, you can't do better. Easy to set up and use. I like the extra filters. Only downside is it moves on its own and it doesn't stay steady, even using the bottom lever.

Setting this up was super easy! The tripod has different lengths and is pretty stable in the grass. Maneuvering it (up/down, side to side) is also easy. I think it would've been better if the slanted eyepiece (not sure what it's called lol) would be higher. Pictures attached were taken with both sizes, 9mm and 20mm. The pictures doesn't do it justice, I feel like the phone attachment makes it a little blurry than without. Also, these pictures were taken in the city so I'm certain that you could get a better picture outside of the city. 2nd picture is the partial eclipse from 09/17, the other 2 were taken the next day. ... show more

    • Disappointed - Poor Quality!
I purchased this telescope to look at the stars. It was easy to assemble and came with all the accessories, carrying case and detailed manual/video installation instructions. I was very excited about this purchase and the opportunity to go into astronomy beginners, but I was quickly disappointed with the poor quality, cheap materials and how flimsy and fragile this telescope is. It was very hard to keep the telescope stable and extremely difficult to locate and track celestial objects. I would like to observe other planets like Saturn or Jupiter but except for the moon, all other celestial objects are just bright blurry dots in the sky. Using the finder scope that attaches to the side was impossible to align and the phone bracket difficult to adjust so that the camera fit perfectly in the center eyepiece. This telescope can be used for mostly terrestrial viewing, but it is not suitable for astronomy. I don’t recommend it! ... show more

I had been searching for a beginner friendly telescope for easy backyard moon watching and bird watching. I had one before but an extreme cheap one that wasn’t the greatest quality. After thorough searching and deciding this one was best, I was not disappointed! Easy assembly with a good case to store it in without difficultly! Looking through the scope is great and clear, hardly any of the chromatic aberrations that cheaper telescopes have. The tripod is great as it keeps the telescope in place. In my area it gets a bit windy which moves the telescope angle around but nothing too dramatic. It’s definitely a great purchase! ... show more

Super easy to use. It has great stability and it can be used on uneven ground. My only complaint is the phone attachment isnt quite big enough to cover all of my phone cameras. Highly recommend this telescope overall
