  • Suits my purpose
I really got it to fit in with my train set, which is 1/64 scale. I have built several kits, including a fuel depot, and have a model Russian 1943 fire truck, unknown scale, that seemed to fit in well, and I wanted another truck. It came bubble wrapped, and inside a somewhat flexible plastic case glued on to a cardboard base. The truck itself was screwed to a plastic base. The passenger side mirror was off, and that seems to be mentioned in other reviews. A spot of glue will fix that. I found the paint job and details very good. No runs or smears. And while the Russian model is slightly larger scale, together they make for a very nice pair as shown in the pictures. (The Russian model was actually made in Russia.) ... show more

  • Great piece
This liece is actually pretty good quality for the price it is. Gives you the same mold code 3 uses but offer it at a much better price. Of course you will not get the aw detail of a code 3 model, but as a liutenant firefighter, im impressed with this model i also have their ARFF truck and a Pumper/Engine and Rescue truck on the way, and will be getting the Command vehicle and Tanker soon. I plan to build a fire station out of wood mistrial and display it at model shows. These models are a perfect size. Great size for a large scale sjze railroad layout. Be mindful that the rauls on these models are ultra fragile only reason i gave it five stars and all three models i recieved their package that the actual model is in was damage, not the company fault but the mail carrie but nothing was broke on any model once opened. Good idea for the company to put fragile sticker on the mail bubble wrap/paper package it comes in, but bubble wrap is wrapoed around the actual model package im guessing thats what prevented my models from getting broke when the packages were damaged. ... show more

  • Just a model of a basic aerial ladder...
...but a pretty good one. I had only one squawk with this little guy. When I peeled off the protective bubble wrap I was dismayed to notice the driver's side mirror laying at the bottom of the package. Upon further examination, I was heartened to discover the mirror was undamaged. It had simply fallen off. A little super glue and we're back on the road again. Overall the quality of the unit is remarkably decent. The paint work is acceptable or better,, especially that of the code lights above the headlights. I would rate this as exceptional. The decal/lettering is above average With average eyesight you can even read the tiny shop number on the passenger's side cab.. My conclusion is that this is a nicely detailed piece of fire apparatus at a reasonable price point. Very much recommended. ... show more

  • Great Model
The ladder goes around 360 degrees and also extends well to a surprising length. The Polish shipping service does a pretty good job getting their products to the US in about 2 weeks. One small back taillight was missing. These types of models are not toys!

  • Its okay , but definitely has problems .
butch lesbian here ; this product is very fragile , mirrors broke instantly upon touch , as well as the right window which popped out of place as soon as i groped with little force the fromt cabin is strangely loose and feels like if it wasnt fot the underside it would fall off instantly . its made of cheap plastics and feels so light that i fear it might float away if im not careful enough . the wheels were completely bent and the rubber was oddly stained . it smells of some substance that i can only assume is the cheap plastic . its oddly greasy despite not being made of any form of metal . . it gets many points for being proper 1:64th scale and for being detailed how ever if you so much as let a child look at it for too long it will probably shatter into billions of small pieces in 0.4 of a femtosecond . i would definitely not recommend it other than for displaying it in a case of some kind so that no harm can come to it . ... show more

  • DISAPPOINTED
Product was not packaged well, received with parts on back of truck broke off. Not the quality I was expecting from description.

  • as close as possible to the real thing.
The quality and pricing make these products the closest thing to Code 3 I believe you will find. The detailing and graphics are very good. They are plastic, not steel but as far as viewing your collection you won't be able to tell the difference.
