I don't know why the creators of eye liner pencils do not include a sharpener that works well for their pencil. I purchased the pencil and thought one of the million sharpeners I already have would work but...nooooo. I returned and paid $2 for the sharpener to go with that pencil that I purchased. But noooo....it did NOT work with the pencil that it was supposed to support. NOT HAPPY and I won't purchase THAT eye pencil again (ROEN). So, I ordered this sharpener and it works well enough but not perfectly for the pencil I have. It is well made and has 2 different size holes. I recommend it because it is good quality, it was delivered quickly and the price is fair. I have no clue how to tell you which pencil it will match....know what I mean? Dang! ... show more

Sharpens well. I don't like the fact that the plastic cover was all busted up but since it's only $1, you can't let them know and get a replacement 🙄 Shouldn't matter if it's only $.01. It's the principle of the thing.

I was looking for a SIMPLE, CHEAP pencil sharpener...and this fit the bill. I have no need for anything more fancy than this...it gets the job done quickly and easily. My ONLY complaint (which is trivial) is that the cover holding all of the shavings inside is very loose on mine, and comes off quite easily. But I just sharpen my pencils over the trash can and let the shavings fall right in - problem solved. Listen...it's $1. I didn't have lofty expectations...but it's a hell of a lot easier and quicker than sharpening pencils with a pocket knife...which is what I've been doing for years. Not a huge deal as this thing is super cheap. When first sharpening a pencil on the second 180° twist i heard the most catastrophic crunch. When i removed the end of the pencil i had to look inside the pencil sharpener for the pitbull that had chewed the end of my pencil off. Upon finding no dog within i then attempted two more twists. Again, a crunching noise like cookie monster eating the letter of the day startled me. Upon inspection i found the wood of the pencil neatly tapered down but with split graphite protruding 1/8th of an inch from the wooden sheath. In an attempt to shape the graphite into a point i gave the pencil a gentle quarter turn. I heard nothing, and felt no resistance. Hopeful i had defeated both the dog and cookie monster, i removed my pencil to find that indeed nothing had happened. I tried again. Unfortunately in my second attempt to shape up the graphite i heard a snap, a crackle, and finally a pop. I dont know where the wood chipper of a pencil sharpener went as i threw it with all my might in the most appropriate direction as is the way of my people... Fantastic range, clean spin, predictable arc, decent speed, vanishes from existance on impact. Would buy another. Fun to throw, horrible to sharpen pencils. ... show more
