I needed to replace the old worn-out inner spring mattress in my sleeper sofa, and I hoped this would do the trick. It does an excellant job of supporting my weight (265lb), without feeling the cross-bar underneath. The mattress is made with 3 inches of high-density foam (super stiff), with a little over 1 inch of memory foam on top. The memory foam certainly helps, but it isn't enough. I ended up buying a 1.5 inch memory foam mattress topper to go on top of that, and now it's really comfortable. The sleeper still closes, though now my sofa cushions sit higher than they used to. I'll keep this configuration as it is working for me. If I had to do it over again, I would probably try a different mattress to start with. ... show more

I have a old sofa bed. The original mattress tied onto the frame and this one does not. And I measured but obviously we measured incorrectly because we could have gone with a queen. But overall this mattress is great. It’s comfortable and it folds up rather well.

Bought to replace original sleeper sofa mattress, that I hadn’t realized was so bad! When I got Covid last summer, I isolated from my family in the basement, but my whole body was so sore and I could not get comfortable. Not sure soreness was from the mattress or from having Covid, but I had never slept on it before and didn’t realize that it was lumpy and had a huge divot in the middle. It’s where my dad always sleeps when he stays over, but he’d never mentioned that the mattress was awful! I tried folding the comforter in creative ways to fill the hole, and laid there and scrolled Amazon for this one. I recovered before it arrived, so I was back to my nice Tempurpedic in the bedroom, but now I’m confident that when my dad or anyone else stays over, that they can actually get a decent night’s sleep. My dad did say that it was a “110% improvement” when he was here for Christmas. It still folds up nicely when we need the bed folded up and out of the way, and doesn’t have any marks or creases from having been folded up when it’s unfolded again.
