Great storage box for the price. I have many of these boxes and they are seemingly unmatched for the price. They are fairly thin sheet metal, and the latch is a bit weak, but they both seem pretty sufficient for what most people might put in it. The powder coating is pretty good. The moveable dividers are about as good as they get. They have sufficient friction to stay in place, and they have curved bottoms so that they sit nice and flush at the bottom, maintaining the curved bottoms which is a really nice touch, pretty well thought out. In general I really like this line of boxes, and I use them for many things. This one gets 4 stars because I don't like the latch being right underneath the handle, and the handle being so stiff. It makes it a little annoying to use the handle, and to open the latch, you have to push the handle all the way down and it isn't as easy as I'd like. I'd rather see 2 latches to either side of the handle at a little more cost. Again though, I don't know of anything similar in this price range, so I love it despite. ... show more

    • A professional grade USA made steel storage box for a fair price
The paint appears good and there are no bare spots. The box and latch are sturdy. It comes with 9 dividers. I like the fit of the dividers. They are well made, no parts leak between sections though i would not turn it completely upside down with tiny loose parts in the bins. Also the dividers have a curved base so facilitate finger scooping of small parts. The only wish I have is that they would have included a few more dividers even though 9 was almost just enough for me. Dividers are available for purchase in sets of 9 at Fastemal #0578814 or Graingers probably under the Durham #216-95. I don't think these are meant to be thrown in a tool box with heavy steel tools or anything like that but kept on a shelf and being knocked around a bit I expect this to last a long time. ... show more

Good value for money, latch not good enough for professional daily use, but for the advanced and expert level home shop it’s just fine.

Great storage for anything small and important to you. Dremel parts, firearms cleaning supplies, screws nuts and bolts etc. Well made and the steel is definitely a nice step up from the usual chinesium plastic. The dividers fit cross wise into the length wise slots, so there are four sections when you open the box running front to back as you face the box. The little dividers can then be placed running left to right to make boxes at one inch intervals. Secure clasp at the front and a little carrying handle. Durham Mfg. is a solid 100 year old company in CT, with a facility in Mexico, no China manufacturing that I am aware of. Nice, sturdy product that does what you buy it for. ... show more

This is a perfect item. This item is exactly as described. Makes a great box for drone batteries to store and keep safe. One other order was missing inserts and the company sent the right out.
