I love these boxes. Excellent value. The drawers that hold it are a bit expensive, but quite worth it. There are 2 sizes of box, that was confusing for a while - with all the measurements, took me a while to figure out there's just 2 options, big and medium - 3" and 2". The dimensions are the same for all the 3" and the 2". I also didn't understand there are 2 versions of drawers, the sturdy, bearing slide one that is expensive, and a cheaper one (each for both the 3" and 2") After that you just pick number of drawers. I have the cheaper one, it's very nice, but does droop a bit with the weight I put on it. If I would do it over I might get the expensive one. Since it'll probably be around the rest of my life (buy once cry once). Still I have probably at least a hundred pounds (maybe more?, maybe less?) - anyway, 6 drawer stack. Filled with screws, nuts and bolts, to the top. Works great. The box itself I love and that's what this is for anyway. I thought I would really want the 3" one. And I have 4 of those, but really I prefer the smaller ones. Obviously what you are storing makes a huge difference in decisions, but I have found this particular box to be ideal for most all nuts and bolts. I have 2 drawer stacks, labeled M5 - M14 (screw size, M4 and under is in a smaller container), and 6-32- 10-32. At 1/4"-20 and up, I went to the 3" box. And a few more boxes for other things, washers, plastic spacers etc. The smaller compartment size is ideal, and I could maybe do one with even more, smaller compartments. Again depends on your needs- I hot glued in dividers in the smaller screw sizes. Cons: The latch can pop off sometimes, and could be better. But the rest of the box is pretty good. Just a little bit of flex in the box when heavily loaded. That's pretty much it. I wish the latch was sturdier, so that if I were to drop it , I would have more confidence I wouldn't spend the next 8 hours sorting screws. But everything else is great. I personally wish there were options for smaller compartments, but that's me. There's the adjustable compartment one, but finding additional dividers for the boxes (both 2" and 3") is surprisingly difficult. ... show more

    • Latch doesn’t work.
The latch springs open at the slightest touch or if you slightly press on the lid so I can’t travel with it. If just used in shop it is probably ok, but for $25.00 I would expect something a bit sturdier.

    • Does the Job Efficiently
The compartments of this box are rounded on the bottom so you don't have to have long fingernails to get out small items. They are the right size to hold the more commonly used hardware without being too large, so there are more pockets available. Very efficient. The box is 2 inches deep so it fits in the workbench drawer or hangs on the wall with minimal risk of bumping it off. When the one I just got fills up, I am going to get another one. ... show more

    • The best hardware bins!
These are the O.G. and put akro-mills parts cabinets to shame. The only downside is that you have to plan out what goes where because emptying one bin completely to re-organize can be a big time suck. Lids latch down well, sturdy, and well-built for decades of daily use.

    • Perfect for those small parts... wont mix with each other.
Like the boxes I bought.. I added a thin rag under the compartment insert to lift if up to give it a tighter seal when lid closed. Love the sealed compartments so my very small flat parts wont mix with each other. I have told all my friends in my field about these boxes.. GREAT PRICE TOO!

    • Really nice organizer, study and nice powdercoating
Very nice quality, I use for electronic parts and misc items. Very sturdy and has nice quality finish without any chips and is pretty resistant to chipping. Latch works well too. Definitely will buy again

    • PLASTIC PARTS BEWARE
Slightly disappointed in this product. Arrived with bent corner making it difficult to close... fixed with a mallet. Also the dividers within this metal box are made from PLASTIC when I thought they would be metal. This is terrible news for me as I will be placing hot metal tig torch objects in this container after welding. ... show more

    • Just the right sort of storage.
Just what needed the bottoms on the bins are curved to make small parts easy to remove and the kid is tight to keep everything where it belongs.
