  • Great boots!
Size: 11 Wide Color: Sunset Velocity and Trail Brn
I needed some new boots, and after looking around, I settled on these. They look great, fit well, and are comfortable. As is typical in such boots, there's not much in the way of arch support, so I got some hard orthotics to put in. That made these boots my new favorites.

  • Great boot!
Size: 15 Color: Dusk Velocity and Bark Brown
Husband loves these boots, true to size and fits well. Comfortable and they last about a year. He has been purchasing these boots for years and loves them. Would definitely recommend .

  • What a Boot!
Size: 11 Color: Dusk Velocity and Bark Brown
Was leary about buying online footwear. But after I initially slipped these on and took a few steps-Wow. My best boots to date were Danner Sharptail’s. But those were twice the price. The Durango’s fit and feel like I am wearing slippers. So snug and light. Really am impressed with the soles as well. Used as work boots, these are holding up so far to a lot of abuse(brushwork, log splitting, and climbing). Pondering getting a second pair to give the first set a break and time to breath. Excellent boots for the $$s! ... show more

  • 5 stars for initial impression but will they hold up??
Size: 10 Color: Dusk Velocity and Bark Brown
Appearance. They look great. The "lowers" on mine were darker brown than the vertical "shaft" part which was exactly the color shown in the picture. I don't mind the differential. No one will likely see the shaft color anyway. Fit: Incredible. They feel broken in the minute you put them on. The shaft is very thin and not entirely leather. It has an outer leather "skin" but the inside is a synthetic material of some kind. Together they are probably no more than 2-3 16ths of an inch thick. That's partly why these boots feel so good right away. It truly is like putting on a pair of "tennis shoes". The bottoms are also a bit thin by feel which is another factor for comfort. There is no breaking in required because there is absolutely no stiffness to these boots. None. So the pluses from an initial impression are looks (they look great) and the incredibly comfortable feel right out of the box. I have to admit the synthetic soles don't really sound like "boots" when you're walking on a hard surface. No sound at all. Are there negatives? Perhaps. First don't expect these boots to protect you from a sprained ankle. You step in a gofer hole and you're going to feel it. These boots simply aren't rigid enough to offer much ankle support. Again, kinda like wearing the OLD Converse high top shoes. Second, are these things going to last? For casual wear perhaps. I intend to work in these boots. I'll be surprised if they hold up for a year or more, but hey, others say they've worn 'em for years so maybe I'm in for a pleasant surprise. I'm going to keep them. They weren't that expensive. If they don't hold up, I'll have learned my lesson but won't have lost that much in dollars. If you need ankle support and intend to really work hard in your boots, these might not be the best option ?? ... show more

  • Love these boots
Size: 9 Color: Sunset Velocity and Trail Brn
The Durango Rebel boots are comfortable, fit very well, and are quite durable so far. They are comfortable enough that I wear them almost every day. I am waiting for the first snowfall to see if they are slip-resistant, but I love them so far.
