This cover is well designed, well manufactured and pleasing to the eye. On each corner there us a nylon strap with a plastic belt buckle to wrap around the couch leg. This prevents the cover from being blown off by the high winds that we experience in Idaho. These patio furniture covers are the bomb! We had to replace all our patio furniture cushions because they got destroyed in the sun... literally just disintegrated. Not wanting that to happen to the new replacement cushions, we purchased the Duck Covers. These things are awesome: they fit well, keep our patio set clean and dry and the look good. Infact they look so good, you could almost use them as permanent covers and just sit on them. Anyway...when a product actually works as advertised I feel compelled to reward the manufacturer with a good review. This is the 4th cover we've bought from Duck. They look great and wear better than anything I've seen in 25 years of using these things. They can still tear if hit hard with something sharp, but still pretty impressive.

This is better than the Amazon basic option I bought earlier. It is waterproof- I keep my cushions on the deck lounge sofa and they had no water damage until recently when it ripped. The issue is that it doesn't last for long if left out in full sun and all weather (I do leave mine out summer and winter, it gets about 5 hours direct sun a day). It starts to fade almost immediately and the brown on the top will be faint tan by the end of one summer. By end of second summer the fabric has eroded to the extent that it easily tears. I successful patched small tears a few times, but the last time I attempted a larger patch with another piece of waterproof tarp, and it didn't work - my cushions were stained by water damage. My lounge is lower than this is meant for, so water does tend to pool on top when it rains and must be shaken off - maybe it would last longer if it fitted more snugly on top. It's good enough that I'm buying a replacement but I'd much prefer to spend twice as much and get something that lasted 6-7 years. ... show more

My wife and I have been using these for years. Recently, we noticed a small tear in one of our sofa covers at the arm and I figured, well... I know we've had these a long time and they have served us well. So, I got back into my Amazon orders to find and order some new ones. I was astonished to see that I ordered them in 2016, 9 years ago! I'll be ordering another set so my descendants can enjoy them too I guess? LOL ... show more
