We were replacing the belt cause we didn’t know how old the dayco from the previous owner was. Figured we’d put a new one on and keep the old for a spare. Took the quad out of the yard and down the road and the belt exploded. Towed it back to the shop, cleaned out the parts and put the old dayco on, and it ran like a champ all weekend. We let it break in, taking it slow, let it warm up (not too hot), and cool down. We made it 20 miles and the bike completely stopped, causing us to have to trailer out. Get it home to find that the brand new belt was entirely shredded. Not even an efficient break in process is good enough for this thing I guess ... show more
