I have some nerve damage and I didn't want anything pushing into my thighs, even if it was soft. This cushion gently slopes down and never impinges on my nerve. I was worried that it wouldn't be high enough, but I can see over the dash just fine. I also worried that it would feel weird with that slope. I am a very thin guy, and my booty tends to really dig into car worn car seat in my Prius. I ended up sitting in all kinda of weird ways to due butt pain, and this pad helps a ton with that.
