I am a 40 yr old lady, who lives in the upper Midwest, and works at an elementary school and has to be out in extreme weather way more than I want to be (think parent drop off, multiple recesses, parent pick up, etc). These boots are comfortable, warm, and waterproof. I have been outside in these boots in real feel -15 with normal socks (not extra wooly or double layered) and my toes were not numb when I went back inside (not that most people are sending their kids out to play in that sort of cold, but good to know nontheless). I have to trudge through the snow quite a bit at recesses: there's never any wetness seeping in to my socks. Additionally, these are cute and stylish. They do not seem especially heavy, so that's a plus: wearer won't feel like they have bricks strapped to their feet! I expect these to last for years, so if you're buying them for your growing child, you ought to be able to save them as a hand me down for someone else! ... show more

As pictured, I bought it for my daughter for snow day but she loves this pair too much, she wore it to school almost everyday. It looks comfortable and it is waterproof. She likes to climb and walks briskly. This boots are holding pretty well.

Sturdy rubber outside. The color is spot on. Happily surprised by the warm fuzzy interior. Wasn’t expecting that but it makes the boots that much more comfortable to wear, and that much warmer. I didn’t realize what the zipper on the side of the boot was for. It expands the boot out a couple more inches. Works fantastic for layering warm clothes. This show is perfect. The size runs a little big but that is okay for us. My daughter said the boot is very comfortable. They seem to be great keeping moisture out and slip proof. This was a great buy.

We live in the Midwest, so, for about 2 months, my kids actually need warm boots. I got three pairs, in tan and gray so they can be handed down, they all fit as expected, kids say they are comfy. They look nice and keep feet dry. The only complaint is that the laces are REALLY long. Like, I had to show my son how to wrap the laces around the back of the boot and then tie in the front. Other than that, these seem great. I probably would buy something more expensive if we lived someplace that had snow on the ground all winter, but for our climate (it gets below freezing often, but we don't get a ton of snow) they seem durable, and the kids like them. ... show more

Nice boots! I wear a size 6 1/2-7 so I ordered a size 5 and they are just a little big but with thick socks may be about right. Very well made and zippers on the side as well as laces. I did double the laces over and relaced them so they wouldn’t be too long. They are completely fur lined and very warm. Very satisfied. ... show more
