One of the markers of a good game is replayability. Even though I grew up watching this show, and have seen DBZA more times than I can count, and I know exactly what is going to happen with every character, in every scene, I keep finding myself coming back to replay this game. I can't fully explain it; it's not "completely" customizable like a lot of RPGs (DBZ Xenoverse, for example), there are no surprises in the plot, and there's only one ending, but I keep restarting it. There's something so charming and familiar about going back through a storyline I grew up with. Each time I try to do something different to make it easier or harder. When it's easy, it's almost too easy. When it's hard, it's a challenge. If you like DBZ, you'll like this game. They best way I can describe it is as a really long, interactive episode. You'll see familiar scenes play out again, plus some extra side stories that wrap up some of the questions people have had since the original Dragon Ball aired. ... show more

As a long time fan of DBZ I decided to take an interactive nostalgic trip through DBZ:Kakarot and I am enjoying my flight through. Pros: - Great graphics - incorperates the old 2D cartoon animation with the freedom of modern 3D - Timelesss story told in detail - Works well on the Switch - solid FPS and response time - Voice acting is on point - Dbz open world experience Cons: - While the story is great, some missions are childish and boring with no way of skipping. Go fish, go find, collect.. meh - Difficulty spikes between fights - Movement can feel a bit clunky on open world bits Overall, happy with my game! Bought it full price and it dropped by 50% a week after. If you are paitient, wait for a sale. Shipment was quick and in great condition. Hope this helps :-) ... show more
