As an almost 40 year-old man, I love the way these look on my feet. The contrast of the several black straps against my white skin is eye-catching, especially with the leather being shiny. I just love the simple, traditional look to these. No fancy designs or colors. Just black leather and black rubber. Simple, elegant and stylish for anyone, any outfit or any occasion. They caused painful abrasions and blisters at first, but now I can comfortably wear them all day. When first wearing them, I recommend wearing socks and only walking short distances, giving your feet time to recover until the leather softens and molds to your feet. ... show more

These sandals are great. They're made really well and I love the way they look. Unfortunately, I had to send them back - sizing was sort of confusing and I ordered the wrong size. They're way too small (I thought it was a Men's size 5, but it was a Woman's size 5). Thankfully Dr. Martens website did a full size restock today and I was able to get my correct size from there. Would definitely recommend these, though. Just be careful with the sizing. Edit: I've had my sandals for a couple weeks now and after nearly two weeks of daily wear they're finally broken in. Be warned that the break in process is a bit rough, but you have to be persistent. Once they're broken in, they're amazing! ... show more

The product came as expected!! I was very afraid that these would be too large for my foot, and would have very little support. They are going to take a little breaking in only with the straps, besides that it is true to it’s size and doesn’t run small or big. The straps make it very easy to adjust based on your foot width as well. My foot is quite skinny, and being able to adjust it is good. The support of more then I expected, there is a bit of a platform on the shoe (as expected). Was very impressed and would buy another pair in the future!! ... show more

The sandals wear the top of my big toe, on both feet,leaving an open wound if worn for even short periods of time. These kicks were $ down the drain.
