Happy to find lighter, affordable docs in the kid size. I am between a 7.5 to 8 in women's. The 6 fits good. Iought they were really uncomfortable at first, but the trick is to break them in with thick socks.

My 7 year old loves these boots. I originally bought both of us matching pairs for our family trip to London and my kid said they were comfortable and did not complain once after wearing them for 8 hours. I would like to say these are his favorite because he wears them to school everyday.

I love that these shoes come with a zipper, as I hear that a common issue people have with the adult Chelsea boots is getting their feet inside the shoe! I own a few pairs of docs and I can definitely feel that the leather on these is a bit thinner and creases a little more easily; it’s not necessarily a problem for me as long as it’s still leather and won’t peel! I only took off a star for the plain fact that they’re just a little less durable than the adult boots in that way. I strongly recommend using the DM wonder balsam on them as soon as you get them! I see people complaining about scuffs. You just have to imagine that some of these shoes are sitting in their boxes for quite a while and can get a bit ‘dehydrated’. If you balsam them, they’ll be less likely to scuff or crease more! Comfort is 10/10; the toe box is nicely spacious. They are lightweight as well. I’m a women’s 6.5 and the 5 is perfect for me! Keep in mind that these are a little shorter than the adult boots, so you may have to scrunch down your crew socks or buy some shorter ones! ... show more

i got a big kids size 4 and im a women’s 6 and these fit GREAT!!! they’re a little tight at first but you just gotta break them in like any other docs. it only took about 2 weeks. sorry if my pictures aren’t too good, i just hope they help!! i love the zippers because they help a lot with my bad knees. they’re super comfy and I love wearing them! ... show more

First off, super cute boots. Exactly what I wanted! I’m normally a 3Y in my boots and when needed a 5W when kid sizes are not available. I have really small and narrow feet, but for some reason these aren’t fitting right. From heel to toe its a bit big, there’s about 1/2 inch from my toe to the toe of the boot but from the top of the foot to about 2 inches down from the top of the boot it’s super tight. I wore them to work where I’m sitting almost the entire time and I had to unzip and take off a few times. The toe part is comfy because it doesn’t feel squished, it’s not until the part where the foot and ankle connect that it throbs. I’ll end up keeping them and trying to stretch them because if I go womens I’m paying 3x as much and I like the convenience of the zipper and if I go a size larger to make it more loose the entire boot would be super loose/big. ... show more
