These killer boots run large so size down, but they are incredibly comfortable and super stylish for me (a woman) even though they’re marketed as mens. I have high arches and lean toward wide and wear a 10 in most brands but always order a 9 in Docs. These boots are perfect. Elastic gusset in the inside leaves room for high arches even with a zip on the outside. Comfy from the first wearing. No break in time needed!     • Fabulous boots but run very large!

These are great looking boots but they run large-like 2 sizes too big. I wear a size 9 and after reading the reviews, I ordered an 8. The 8 were way too big, and my heels slipped out with every step. I then ordered a 7 and they fit much better than the 8. They were a little snug at first but after wearing them twice they have stretched out just enough and now fit great. I was so excited to receive these boots. I put the first one on and fell in love. Then, I went to put the other one on only to find out that not only was the zipper completely off its track, but it was missing a section of the zipper ribs. These are unwearable!!! Now, they are $60 more than what I paid for them, so if I return and repurchase I will have to pay more money for them!!!! :( ... show more

Wow! I am happy that these fit me. A lot of reviews even in other sites people are saying that these boots run big. I took a chance and so glad I did. I ordered a size 5. I had to show with a boot on and without to show that if you are a size six, not sure if your feet is wide, these fit. I don't have narrow feet.I still have a bit of toe room and that's good because I can probably wear thick socks if I need to. No scratches since most mention that sometimes they get scratches or boots that look like it's been worn. The ankle area has room and have to make sure I wear socks that cover them because it feels scratchy. Very very nice quality boots! ... show more

I knew this would run large being unisex and docs so I ordered an 8 (normally an 8.5-9) but it was still about a size too big for me. Love the look so I returned it and will be getting it in size 7. It was very comfortable and didn’t need much breaking into (the first pair) so hopefully the 7 will be the same! Good choice if you’re looking for a simple black boot Chelsea -ish style that will last if it’s in true dr marten style . I’ve bought plenty of (still cute) Amazon boots but tired of them falling about about 3-4 months so decided to bite the bullet and get this especially since I realize how iconic a low black boot is and how it’s such a staple in my closet. I do love these boots and this review is not a negative reflection on Amazon. On the contrary, I ordered from Amazon because their return policy is much easier than Dr. Marten's (they charge you to send your shoes back). I had to order 3 different sizes before I found a size that fit OK. They are a little snug, so I'm hoping they break in a bit more. I typically wear an 8, but I had to buy a size 6. I don't understand why Dr. Marten's run SO freaking big, and they really need half sizes. I would recommend finding a Dr. Marten's store and trying on a bunch of sizes - it's a real bummer having to buy and return multiple pairs of shoes. ... show more
