the small and medium fit tightly but ok on my 5000 series reels but the largest one will no way fit the 8000 Penn battle reel. I can squeeze the reel barely into it but no way it's going over the rod handle. quality seems good though.

I’m getting ready to transport some spinning rods/reels. I needed some reel protectors. These look a bit funky with the logo but work very well. I ordered the XL and they are easily large enough for my Penn 8000 series reels. The L size is probably what I should have ordered for the 5000 series and s
maller Penn reels. Easy to use. The include slits for reel handle so it does not have to be removed for installation. Pretty heavy duty neoprene. I would order again without any hesitation. Sizing could be made a little clearer.

Great little case for my reels. I have Penn Fierce 4000's in one and a Pfeuger 3000 in another. There is no mistaking the vendor. Hope you like the Dr. Fish logo on the side.

6000 series reels do not fit in the xl size

I purchased the XL does not fit the 6000 series spinning reels. You have force the cover around the reel, then the cuts for the handle open.. So if your ordering for surf reels order oversized..look at the pictures, had to force into the cover.

May not be perfect fit, but easy to navigate on and off. Plus plus there. And the Lil carry strap on top, very handy. And will show how balan Ed your rod and reel combo is. Lol

I'll buy again, the value is there!

They are of very good quality! I Will buy these again for my other reels, but just some smaller sizes. My only issue is I bought 4 of the XL and these are huge. It's like they're made for big saltwater reels, I have probably medium and a few large sized reels. I'll keep these, because I can also add
some extra cloth wrapped padding to give even more protection of reels when they're stored away and in the truck when being hauled to the lake, but I can also carry extra spin bait or artificial bait with the reel in the cover while waking to that special and secret spot and not have to carry a tackle box every where I go. Or as my lunch holder for a double whopper with cheese, I'll keep it attached to my belt.
