This double decker casserole carrier is great. It is well made and seems very durable. The handles are well placed to keep dishes level inside. The bottom section is deep enough for a deep casserole dish or covered cake pan. The top section isn't quite as deep, but works great for a standard casserole dish. I tested the carrier with a hot casserole straight from the oven. After 1 1/2 hours, the casserole was still hot. I also tested with a Jello salad, which was still cold after 2 1/2 hours. I tried the carrier with a hot dish in the bottom and Jello in the top. After 1 1/2 hours, the Jello did not survive, but the casserole was still hot. Most likely the hot/cold combo would be successful for a short period of time. The flat zippered pocket on the top is an extra bonus; great for carrying utensils, plates, napkins, pot holders, etc. This would be a great gift item. ... show more

Hear that? That is the sound of me donating two casserole carriers to the local thrift store. I love this thing. Double stack your casseroles pans. One hot, one cold? No prob. Both hot? Fine. Both cold? Sure. It's expandable if you only need to use one section. The material is very thick and very dense, well suited for the purpose. It's easy to wash. I got to put this to the test for the Fourth and loved it. I had room to store utensils, extra toppings in ziploc bags (crushed heath bars) AND carried two dishes - one hot, one cold. An hour later, when we arrived, everything was at perfect temp. I am literally looking at the three casserole carries I've had for a few years - sitting in the donation box on the table. I would suggest writing your name on it. Or, do what I did... use a cricut to make a label with your name and a threat to do unspeakable things if someone walks off with your carrier. "I have an Airtag in this and if you take it, I'll go to your home while you sleep and switch your baking powder and corn starch" is what I put on mine. But you do you. ... show more

This carrier is is a game changer! I have a large family, and carrying dinner to each others homes is always a challenge - especially when the car is jam packed with stuff. No more precariously placed lasagna pans atop a mound of pillows with the hope that they don't shift or leak all over everything while driving. The foil lining doesn't do the greatest job of retaining heat, just ok, but I'm mostly enthralled with the fact that more than one pan can be stacked and remain upright in transit. You could also use this as a cooler too. The handles seem to be pretty well attached. I'm not afraid of weighing this case down with heavy dishes. I haven't washed it yet, but I bet you could run it through the washing machine and air dry if you didn't want to hand wash. Definitely don't put it in the dryer though - The plasticky foil would likely melt/warp. ... show more

This bag is pretty nice! Look how flat it goes for storage! (see photos). You can use just the bottom section and keep the top section "hidden". It has an "Expandable" zipper ( like a carry-on suitcase). The top is smaller than the bottom. I bring 3 of these deviled egg containers to our parties.(see photo) I can put 2 in the bottom and one in the top (with a little extra room for ice). IF you do use both sections, you'd have to take out the items from the top section first. Since that's the lid for the bottom section. It's going to be SO nice to carry the eggs or any pan upright! I'm going to love using this. It's well made. Good construction. Durable. Wipes up nicely. I'm really going to enjoy taking containers of food in these. Life is easier when you use the right tools for the job. ... show more

Looks well made, the handles seem secure and well positioned, and I love the versatility of this carrier! Zipper pocket for hot pads, or silverware, or what have you. Easy to zip and unzip the double decker portion, and easy to clean. I bring cinnamon rolls to work and potluck dishes for gatherings, it is always an ordeal to wrap the pan in a towel and bring all the hot pads position it just right on the seat so it doesn't melt anything and just hope it stays warm on the drive. This carrier solves all those problems! This can also be used for keeping things cool, so I see myself getting a lot of use out of this! ... show more

This food carrier is a great option for keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold! It insulates really well and I like its sleek design. It has a lot of versatility. You can either use it to carry one or two 9x13” casserole dishes. The size is large enough to carry plenty of food without being big, bulky or heavy. The quality is great. My wife is the cook in the family, and she loves to make dishes to share for events or parties. I can't even list all of the things have ended up in 9" x 13" pans. We have a stack of them in the cabinet. Some have Rubbermaid type lids and others end up with cling wrap on them. The biggest problem we've had is safely transporting warm dishes. When this double insulated casserole carrier became available, I ordered one straight away. It's made of a durable canvas type material and is lined in the silver space age insulating material. I like the fact that it is expandable. Should we find ourselves only bringing one dish (it happens once in a blue moon), you zip up the top potion and you're good to go. It's basically a soft sided cooler that is the perfect size and can double up when you need it to. If that's what you're looking for, look no further. Great item. ... show more

This is a great insulated carrier for food. I have a lunch box that’s like this, even a backpack, but the lunch box is too small and some foods need to be flat. This is where is big carrier comes in. It even fits my favorite dish that I love to use for holidays and gatherings. It kept the food hot for hours. Like, I put one pan in almost straight from the oven, and it was still hot a few hours later. This is also great for just keeping dinner warm, too. I haven’t tried out cold stuff, yet, but when I make food for a friend gathering, maybe my lemon icebox bars, this will come in handy! ... show more
