I've always used my blow dryer to shrink my shrink wrap bags, these don't want to shrink. I've given up on them. I'll find and order some regular shrink wrap bags so I can finish my orders. If I do decide to get a heat gun I may try it on these. That will be a long time in the future though, so these were a waste of money to me. Live and learn. :D ... show more

I have had a soap business for 3 years and these are the only shrink bags I use. I sell hundreds of soaps every month and these bags seal and shrink quickly and hold up well. I ship wholesale orders across country with no damage. It takes a bit to get the right touch. But once you get the right distance and speed to keep the heat gun moving you will have no issues. When I got this product, I was excited that the feel of the wrap is light and very flexible so it won't split when the product is placed inside. The plastic reacted well when I took off the excess but when I put the product under the heat, it did not shrink down and encase the bath bomb. It is now loose, which is okay, keeps dirty fingers off the merchandise, just disappointed that it didn't shrink as tightly as the ones covering the small soap and donut bath bomb. ... show more

Good product. Works well if you are careful. It is a soft plastic and gets holes easily so keep the heat gun further away than for pvc bags. Square and rectangular soaps seal well but had trouble with the irregular shapes. Either the plastic got holes trying to get a smooth finish or remained wrinkly because I couldn't heat it for long enough without getting holes. This plastic really has no odour. It is clear and not yellow. It's softer in the seams than pvc shrink wrap so the edges aren't sharp and are more comfortable to the touch. I would recommend this product just for the fact that it doesn't have a strong plastic smell and it is possible to smell the soap through the material. ... show more

I used these to shrink wrap soap so that the scent could be smelled thru the wrap, which it can. The shrinking isn't very good and is more of a loose plastic wrap (as if I wrapped in saran wrap). It does the job but the appearance is not what I wanted.

This is my favorite shrink wrap bag. Shrinks nicely but not too stiff- and I can still smell they the wrapping without having to cut out holes on the edges.
