i have no clue what the negative reviews are talking about tbh. it's warm, sweet, fruity, and just overall pleasant. the scent changes when you apply it, it's real nice in the bottle but sooo much better on the skin. i've noticed it changes throughout wear as well, sort of shifts with your sweat. the pear really shines through at times lmao it isn't too strong but boy can you smell it and it lasts thus-far. my main concern was being around my ma because she's highly sensitive to scents (candles, perfume/cologne, incense, oils, air fresheners, foods, you name it) most things cause migraines and sneezing fits for her but she loves it. my partner and younger brother do as well. i'd like to add that it's an androgynous scent with a fem lean, would bare wonderfully with masculine scents and i plan to do so, v excited! lastly, i've been wearing it for around 2½ hours and it's still going strong. i can smell myself every time i move or the wind blows, it's so nice😭 very glad i ignored the negative reviews because... i didn't experience any of that. maybe they just received bad batches?? I am always looking for a good new scent, this perfume smells amazing! Also, there was more liquid than I was anticipating it will last a long time. The scent also lasts all day and longer. The cap is magnetic, so you don't have to worry about it getting lost or the spray top getting broken. Love the scent and design of the bottle. I haven’t worn this fragrance out yet, but just by spraying I can tell it’s longevity is better compared to your typical body sprays. It’s floral, yet also sweet and rich like a dessert pastry. For the price, you get a very good amount of product, with a very layered and complex scent profile. The packaging came perfect and clean, the bottle was completely in tact, and it dries down and just smells absolutely beautiful on me. I tend to enjoy warmer scents, and while it is a very sweet sugary smell it has the slightest touch of floral that I really enjoy, and I typically don’t enjoy florals. It is the perfect scent for winter AND summer, a very versatile and all year scent. I will be using this fragrance year round AND will be repurchasing once I inevitably run out. It is the perfect size and weight to carry in your purse as well. My man loves it, and I love it. I cannot wait to hear the compliments i’ll receive, because I just know I will! This is my fourth bottle! It’s my fav scent to wear.. It can come off as strong at first, but I love the way it smells once it really settles in - it becomes soft and it’s sweet, but not too sweet . It’s supposed to be a Black Opium Dupe. I’ve never owned or smelled Black Opium, but someone once asked me if I was wearing it! This perfume is also long-lasting, it stays on my clothes and sweaters for so long even if i don’t spray it again. I get so many compliments when I walk by people. ... show more

I will say the perfume does smell incredibly similar to YSL's Black Opium, which I was happy about. However, an Eau De Parfum is a higher concentration that should last up to 8 hours or even more which did not happen for me. I would say it had great concentration for about 2 hours then began to wear out with it being completely gone within 4 hours. While the price is amazing for being so similar to Black Opium I do question if this is a true Eau de Parfum and not an Eau de Toilette (which roughly has a lifespan of 4 hours). Overall, the fragrance and price are phenomenal, but the fragrance does not last as long as you would imagine for what it is advertised for. Maybe it is just my bottle and perhaps I got a "bad batch" but the scent overall is great and a great deal compared to what you would pay for the true YSL Black Opium. ... show more

I’m a vanilla girl through and through and I never branched out from warm vanilla sugar until recently. This is strong but has a floral scent that goes perfectly with the vanilla. I apply EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion on first and then apply this perfume to my wrists, chest, and behind my ears. It lasts all day and so far I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and questions about what I’m wearing. Definitely worth it if you love the vanilla scent. ... show more
