Unfortunately, I had to remove two stars because the sizing description of this bag was SO far off...smaller by 4 to 5 inches! This is a significant discrepancy from the 12 inch length that is advertised as mine came in at approximately 7 inches in length on the bottom of the bag. No matter how you slice it, the bottom is actually wider than the top so I have no clue where they get 12 inches from. Aside from that, I was most pleasantly surprised to nearly be bowled over with the lovely scent of real leather upon opening it. Needless to say, this allayed my fears about it being faux/PU leather. I carefully inspected and tested every aspect of this leather bag and it is all most definitely real. I love the style and design of it, though much smaller than described, due to the open "bucket" design it IS quite roomy. It has a small zipper pocket on the interior wall and an easy to open & close drawstring closure. The interior is made of a cotton canvas material so the entire bag seems quite durable. Bottom line: Because I typically carry small to medium size bags, the smaller size of this one does not bother me at all as it easily holds all my essential daily items. A fresh take on a Summer picnic, this is a great daytime leather purse. I can easily fit a lot of things in there, including a Moleskine journal, sunglasses, small water bottler, and an iPhone Pro Max. I like the lining with the drawstring. You can either push it into the purse and drop everything into the purse on top of the lining, or you can do the opposite, and use it over everything to hide what you've got inside. The drawstring enclosure gives the purse a casual, more relaxed vibe than a zippered closure would. I also like the cotton/canvas-feeling material. It's sturdy without being too thick or heavy looking. The weave is good. The leather has a subtly shiny finish, and the sides can kind of flex, but this purse will hold its shape. ... show more
