Dang I wish I bought these 2 weeks earlier. I have a chip in my Gladiator hinge with less than 500 miles on it. It hurts, trust me and just buy these before you buy a Jeep and install them day 1. Thanks to Dirt Road Cred for pointing these out. Also super excited that this is a family run business and an American made product. I've recommended these to others already. Very easy to install, even easier once you watch the video on Amazon. Fits perfectly and you can't see them at all. I have to get right next to the hinges to even notice them. Just added these to a new 2024 JL Wrangler. They have saved the hinges on my Gladiator from rock-chips multiple times, so they were my first purchase for the Wrangler. These are very thick and tough and so far have proved impenetrable to stone/rock damage. Rock chips just slightly leave a soft ding in the material, which is not visible and can only be felt. They adhere strongly to the hinges, do not peel over time, but are easily removed if replacement should be needed. Installation is easy but requires some careful attention to detail when placing the first edge down. I've found it best to install the top section first using the vertical line already on the hinge as a guide for where to place the leading edge of the protection film. As long as the protection film is perfectly vertical and the top and bottom are centered, you're good to go. For the bottom section, I use a ruler or the edge of one of the papers that hold the stickers as a guide. Place the edge of the ruler or piece of paper along the edge of the top protector you just installed and get that perfectly vertical. Then using the opposite hand, lay on the bottom protector right up against the ruler. With both protectors, as long as the leading edge is vertical and centered, you can trust just laying down the rest of it around the hinge. If you have a new Wrangler or Gladiator, definitely make these the first thing you buy for it. They offer excellent protection in the most vulnerable areas of the hinges, and unless you're really looking, can't see them. Quick (10 mins) and easy to install. Great product!

When they say that this is the first mod you should install on your Jeep, they are not lying. The highway will absolutely end up winning the war on your hinges if you don't protect them with something. This is a great option and once on, your not going to notice them. Perfect product!
