My class of 3-6 year olds love this book! I was reading it five times a day. We originally got this book from the library and when the school librarian came to collect it my class burst into tears, the librarian slowly put it back saying it will be renewed. That is when I purchased my first copy and I have been reading it almost daily since.     • Perfect for 1 Year Olds
My daughter is 1 year old and I decided to get this book for her in hopes that it would help her learn how to really digest images and interact more with books. On the first read she LOVED IT! When I started to shake the book she started laughing hysterically. It was fantastic. Then when I was done reading it to her she immediately wanted to read it again. It's one of her favorite books and every time I tell her "bring me a book so I can read to you," this is always one that she picks. I got it around December, so it's been about a month or two of reading it to her and now she has started to shake the book herself! I was so proud! And there's a part where the character bounces around the pages, and I always follow the line with my finger and make the bouncy noises, and now she does it too. Is it super short? Yes. But personally I think that's a good thing because if your kids anything like mine and wants you to read the same book to them 500 times in a row, then short books are a godsend. I highly recommend this to any parent looking to have a fun reading session with their kid and wanting to teach them actions and interacting with pictures and objects. I do wish the book itself had more interactivity, like actually having a ribbon they can help pull. Or actually having a flap the kids can lift on the page where Larry asks them to help him lift the lid off. That would be really cool. But this book is good for what it is. ... show more

I love this book series! However, I was pretty disappointed by the condition of the book when it arrived. I buy secondhand books all the time, so I don’t normally have a problem with peeling edges, staining, or scratches on my books. My issue is that this was sold as new, but definitely arrived looking very preowned. Though, for less than $4, I can’t complain too much. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My twin 4 year olds discovered this series at the library with the original "don't push the button book". They absolutely LOVED it and probably had my husband and I read it 100 times over those two weeks. Since we have tried to check it out at the library but it's always gone. I decided to buy a few of this series and surprise my kids. They both FREAKED out with excitement when they opened the package. The present edition is fun and incorporates different things vs just the button. You shake it and move book different ways. My kids loved to read it over and over, saying and doing all the action items. Very cute book and would recommend! Smaller than the original which is fine since it's such a reasonable price! ... show more
