I do like how this feels after a shave especially because I do become quite sensitive after a shave. It feels nice on the face and leaves behind a really nice, hydrating feel. It's a good value at two a box considering the quality of the results for me. However, there is very little scent to it so it is a bit underwhelming in that regard. I found a sample of this,tried it and usually don't do anything after I shave but this no strong smell,on stinging and it just felt good so I ordered it and now I won't shave without it

I made a point to try on a small area - not only because I have sensitive skin, even though this says its for sensitive skin, but because it contains a form of alcohol, which I didn't realize upon ordering (seems contradictory to moisturization). Anyhow, its more cream or lotion-y than a balm, for sure. The scent is fairly mild from what I noticed and although I noticed a nice response initially, after maybe 5-10 minutes I felt some skin irritation on the exact area I tested it. Maybe I'll try again in the future -and update my review if any new/different results - but for now, this is a no from me. ... show more

    • Uninspiring Aftershave Balm? Cream? Which is It? No Signature Fragrance.
The listing references both balm and cream. The tube notes cream. Which is it? They are different. To me, it’s more of a cream. Skin type? This does not seem to do well for oily skin. The safflower seed oil may be the trigger. Texture Feels greasy. Goes on a tad heavy. White cream, soft texture. After affect Real or imagined, the areas I applied this too seemed to feel warm. I do not care for that. Benzyl Alcohol may have been the trigger, for me. Fragrance. Feint aroma, it is uninspiring and not noticeable. I prefer a slightly noticeable signature fragrance. This does not have one. Washes Washes clean. Absorbency? Hmm, this lingers, for a bit of time, I washed it off. Where used? Wherever I shaved. This warns keeping this away from the eyes. Ingredient comment. A balm is usually made with some sort of wax, to make the balm’s consistency harder and thicker. This has more of a watery consistency. Reading the ingredients, I do not see, for instance, beeswax, which is a classic balm ingredient. I would not call this a balm. Date made? There was no date when this was made, nor a best by date. Once opened, this has a reference that the shelf life is 12 months. Location of “assembly?” USA. But where were the ingredients sourced from. A mystery I do not care for. Based on the totality This is a four (4) star product in my opinion. I am not inspired by its use. Would I select this again? Doubtful, I would consider trying something else first. Value? The price is competitive. Consider consulting a health care professional prior to use of any over the counter products. I hope my thoughts added information. ... show more
