BODY REFERENCE: Height 5'5" - Weight 126/129lbs - Bust 34C - Waist 27/28 - Hips 34.5" Dress is fun, flirty, adorable and comfortable! I initially ordered a medium but found the front cutout to be too loose. I re-ordered as a small & the fit was ALMOST perfect, again with the cutout being SLIGHTLY loose (4 starts, not 5). I recommend using safety pins that can be hidden if you want a tighter look there. The fabric is thin but not see-through. The design-matching against the seams will vary slightly dress to dress, size to size, but nothing too drastically different from the main product image. The straps & front tie are adjustable, but nipple-pasties will be helpful with this one (I think even a strapless bra will show). Goes great with a light jean jacket or a cream sweater. This dress is JUST as gorgeous in person as it is in the pictures! I couldn't get the wrinkles out with either wrinkle release spray, or a turn in the dryer with damp clothing, but maybe you'll have better luck with an iron? (I don't have an ironing board so wasn't able to try). Regardless, the wrinkles wouldn't be glaringly obvious to a passerby. If you are on the Itty Bitty you-know-what Committee like I am, this is a GREAT buy! I love going braless, and this is a great outfit for that. I'm 5'9" 140lbs and I ordered the large just bc I don't like things to feel too tight. It fits a little loose around the waist on me, but not sagging. It was PERFECT for my friends fancy buffet brunch! I ate as much as I wanted and didn't have to worry about a tummy pooch! It hid it well. I ordered a large in the black first and LOVED how it fit. I would give it a 5. But I wasn’t in love with the color so I switched it for the green. The green unfortunately was at least a full size smaller- too tight, wouldn’t zip. I ordered these within days of each other so my body did not change over night. I was unsure about this dress. Found it odd that women that were 5’2 - 5’9 and everywhere in between said it was the perfect length. But, man, I have never had so many compliments on a dress in person and on Facebook. Highly recommend! I’m 5’3” (five three & a half, really) and about 165 pounds. Athletic build with a fair amount of fluff. Large chest (36 DDD) and broad shoulders. I ordered a large. Whereas it could have been considerably smaller in the waist and still fit well- my chest needed the large, but more importantly, my arms needed the large. It was comfortably snug on my arms (which are large). The dress did brush the ground - I wore flats. I’m considering having up to 1/2” taken off when I drop it off at the cleaners. It has washing instructions, but does recommend dry cleaning. I plan to dry clean, at least this first time around. The fabric does not feel cheap at all So happy with this dress. Can’t wait to find something else to wear it to. Oh, I showed lots of cleavage in this. If I was wearing it to something more conservative, I’d wear a shell under it. ... show more

So many questions. I ordered both L and XL because I’m often between sizes (185-size12/14, 38DD). I got two completely different dresses. One was silky and light like the pictures. The other was 100% cotton and heavier. This dress was definitely designed by someone without boobs. When tied like designed, there’s nothing stopping the girls from falling out. The fabric completely gapes at the bottom and it’s impossible to use the fabric as a basket to support anything. This is the type of dress that most people wouldn’t wear a bra with so you think it would be designed to work as one. The only way I could see this dress working is if you literally sewed a strapless bra into the top. Save your money and your time. ... show more

I wore this dress to a friend’s floral themed formal wedding. I received compliments left and right from younger and older women! It’s sexy but classy. I have a small chest, so I didn’t have any issue with too much cleavage. I got an XL because I am a bottom heavy (tush and thighs) girl. I wish I would have sized down because it was too big around the stomach area. But because of the style of the dress, no one could tell but me. Material feels nice and satin-y and like the adjustable straps, but the pattern and the cut looks different than I expected around the waist. i think the waist is too big for me because it billows out a bit and sags down instead of sitting up higher like an empire waist.
