The mediums fit perfectly in the waist… not loose, and not too tight. The material is super silky and they drape beautifully. I have long legs and they fit nicely with a heel without dragging at all. These pants are absolutely wonderful. I got them in black so that I could wear them with anything! The satin material is very comfortable against your skin and helps regulate temperature throughout the day. I love the wide leg, especially with the satin material, as it lends it a very flowy look that is casual and elegant at the same time. They have pockets that are quite deep which every woman can appreciate due to the many pants with the lack thereof. I usually wear a size 00-2 in pants and these pants fit very comfortably. These were a gift for my daughter, and her first reaction was that there are pockets that actually function. She mostly wears jeans with ridiculous sized pockets, so this really excited her. The black color is much darker and the fabric is much shinier than what is depicted in the photos. Loved the high waist, and the flared legs are a fun twist on cargo style pants. These pants are really cute, comfortable and fit true to size but they are not matte like in the listing. They are very shiny pants. The material is satin. It is a bit sheer but not too bad and there is very little stretch to the fabric.
